Overview

Chaotic Century

Fiona, Zeke

Fiona in Chaotic Century

Much of Fiona's past is unknown. She was alive during the destruction of the Ancient Zoidian civilization, and was able to escape after she and the Organoid, Zeke, were placed into capsules. It would be many, many years before they were found. One day, Van Flyheight happened upon their capsules. While Van did find Zeke first, Zeke brought him back to the ruins, and helped him open Fiona's capsule. Van is surprised by this (as he thought it be a Zoid like Zeke), and decides to take her back to his village. On the way there, Van tries to talk to her, though she appears to lacks any common knowledge. During their strange chat, Fiona mentions the word "Fiona", and Van decides to name her this. After being excepted into the village, Van takes her on a tour. During this time, Van's sister is kidnapped. While Van wants to go after her, the villagers stop him, and tie him up. They then tell Fiona to watch over him. Fiona does so, but she literally watches him walk to his Shield Liger. During Van's fight with the bandits that kidnapped Maria, Fiona puts her hands together in a praying motion, and Zeke (who was knocked out) quickly combines with the Liger. After Van defeats the bandits, he decides to leave with Fiona and Zeke, knowing that if he stays, his village might be attacked again.

On their adventure, they happen upon a mercenary, Irvine, who gives them food, and directs them to an old military base. There, the group runs into a white Gordos, which attacks them. Fiona becomes separated from Van, and happens across a ancient pillar, and remembers something called the "Zoid Eve". She tells Van this, and he agrees to take her there, hoping they can find her memory. Before they can set out, Irvine returns, and kidnaps Fiona. Van is able to get to his Liger, and battles Irvine's Command Wolf. With some help from the Gordos, the Van is able to defeat Irvine and head out, this time to find the Zoid Eve. One night, Fiona dumps all the water out of Van's Liger (saying it smelled funny), much to Van's annoyance. The two find a village with water, though Irvine reappears again, saying he is protecting it. Sure enough, the bandits that attacked Van's village attacks this village. Van and Irvine fight them, while Fiona watches from the sideline. Van and Fiona would leave afterwards, with Van still keeping true to his promise of taking Fiona to the Zoid Eve.

At one point, Fiona eats Van's last papaya (his favorite food), much to his annoyance. While angry, Van turns his attention to a group of sleepers that attacks the two. After a fight, the two would run into Moonbay, who forces Van to become her bodyguard. Before long, the group would be captured by the Helic Republic. While Van and Irvine escape, Moonbay and Fiona are left behind. With some planning, Moonbay is able to take out the guard, and escape with Fiona. The two would run into O'Connell and Herman, but Moonbay is able to make a agreement with them. She and Fiona are told to destroy the bridge that spans the Red River, which they do after some help from Van and Irvine. The group would leave, with Irvine on their side.

The group stops in a village, and rents a room. After a moment of rest, Moonbay does tell Fiona to tell Van and Irvine that they are heading out to gather supplies. Fiona tells Van this, but is surprised that Van is running from her. The reason being because she has just finished showering and thought Moonbay meant to tell them now. As such, Fiona is not wearing anything (this was removed in the English dub, thus shortening the shower scene). After the mix up, she and Irvine head out to get some food. Still without much common knowledge, Fiona thought the food was free, and ate a good amount (much to Irvine and his wallet's annoyance). The group would quickly leave the town, given that the Imperial army and Rosso's group were after them.

During a trip into a valley, the group notices that their is a strong electrical pulse emitted by Rare Hertz. This causes Zeke to go wild, and Van chases after him. Fiona follows them, and finds a wounded Van. She bandages him (his arm was bleeding), and the two search for Zeke. They find him, and he attacks with the Shield Liger. Van is able to stop him, and group carries on in their trip. They soon decide to go search for Dr. D, and find him, frozen. While un-freezing him, Fiona makes the group coffee. Thankful for this, Van and Irvine gulp it down, but quickly spit it out, saying it tastes disgusting. Fiona then explains that she added salt into the coffee (this would be a running gag later on). After helping Dr. D make snow, the group heads through Mt. Iselina. During their trip, Van chases after a "flying papaya", which turns out to be an illusion, and Fiona and Irvine go after them. However, they get lost themselves, and miss what happens at the local village. During this time, Fiona begins to show signs of becoming closer to Van.

The group soon arrives at a battlefields with many destroyed Guysaks. It would not be long before the group is arrested by the Republic, again. This time, Van, Zeke, and Fiona escape, thanks to a boy named Raven. Raven would soon be a threat to the group, and he and his Sabre Tiger, along with his Organoid, Shadow, attack Van. After losing to Raven, Van decides to have a rematch against him, though Fiona tries to stop him. To do this, she ties a chicken leg on a string, and dangles it in front of Van. It works, but Van still fights Raven again. Raven defeats Van, and severely wounds Zeke. Fiona apologizes for this, despite not doing anything. After finding out about Zoid Magnite, Van decides to go find some, while Fiona stays with Zeke. Van arrives on time, and Zeke is healed. The group still has to wait on Zeke, and Irvine heads out to find a Gojulas. By the time he returns, Zeke is well, and the group leaves.

The group soon arrives at New Helic City, and Van gets lost in a ally. When he returns, Fiona notices something is wrong, and offers him a cookie, though he turns it down. IT turns out that Van helped an Imperial solider, and wonders if freeing him was the right thing. Dr. D meets the group, and takes them to the research institute, though they break in, not walk in. The reason why they're there is because they wanted to see if any of the artifacts would spark Fiona's memory. Republican soldiers surround the group, and they are taken into custody. After the president recognizes Dr. D, she releases them. Before long, the soldier Van helped save breaks into a hanger, and hijacks a "Power Reinforced" Command Wolf. Afterward, Van defeats, chases after, and tackles him. Before he can land a powerful punch, Fiona arrives, and begs Van not to. He listens, and applies, though he is still upset.

The group stays in New Helic City for some time, but before they leave, the Guylos Empire attacks. Van and Irvine help Fiona and Moonbay to steal a Pteras to find Herman, though Van and Irvine go to face the Imperial army. During their search, Fiona notices the snow is fake. The two head to Mt. Osa, and find Major Krueger trying to activate all the bases defenses. Knowing that he would be killed if he keeps this up, Fiona knocks him out. She and Moonbay steal another Pteras, and Fiona knocks out Kruger again. After waking up, Kruger orders the two to fire the Ptera missiles at Mt. Osa, which should causes a eruption, that would destroys Mt. Osa base, and the bulk of the Imperial army. The plan fails, as the Pteras is shot down by Raven. Van arrives, and fights off Raven. Moonbay and Fiona escape the eruption, watching it destroy most of the Imperial army. After the battle, Fiona and Van share a victory dance, and the group heads out, this time to find the Gurreal ruins.

At the Gurreal ruins, Van and Fiona split off from Irvine and Moonbay. While searching the ruins, Van hears Fiona call for help. He runs to a clearing, but can't find her. Suddenly, Fiona falls out of a tree and lands on Van. Much to Van's annoyance, she climbed the tree for an orange, despite his claims of being "a papaya man". While ranting, he and Fiona come across a Rev Raptor, which chases after them. The Raptor chases the two to a edge of a cliff, and Van steps in front of Fiona, using himself to shield Fiona. This method doesn't work so well, as the Rev Raptor swipes the two off the cliff with it's tail. Luckily for the two, Zeke catches them with the Shield Liger, and Van defeats the sleeping Rev Raptor and it's friends. After the battle, the group finds out the ruins have been excavated, but do find one fragment left. Fiona touches this, and remembers one word, "Death Saurer".

After the let down at the ruins, the group happens across a boy. While Moonbay tries to take the boys ring (offering water for it), the group stops her. The boy is soon reveled to be none other then Prince Rudolph. Suddenly, Fiona tells the group to run, and passes out. Fiona misses the battle between Van and Raven's Geno Saurer, but still travels with Van and the group. After a morning sleep, the group happens across destroyed Redlers, no doubt one's searching for Rudolph. While Van learns of a Zoid Core, Fiona becomes concerned. Later that night, she and Van talk. Fiona begs Van to not fight Raven, which he reluctantly agrees to. Later on, he breaks his promise to Fiona, and attacks the Geno Saurer. The Geno Saurer uses its Charged Particle Cannon on the Shield Liger, destroying it. Zeke bails out, and Fiona runs over to him. She then asks Zeke were Van is, and it's reveled that Zeke had saved Van, much to Fiona's relief. Van later goes on to save Rudolph, leaving Fiona and Zeke to stare at the destroyed Shield Liger. While Moonbay tries to talk to Fiona, she and Zeke merge with the downed Liger. Inside the whirlwind she formed, a fake world appears, and Fiona sees another version of herself. While the group is confused by the whirlwind, Van becomes angry, saying he should be there, not Fiona. He leaves, and finds some ruins. While staring at the sky, he hears Fiona's voice. She tells Van that she hates what Van has become. Van decides to head back to the whirlwind, but is attacked by the mercenaries hired by Prozen. He is thrown into the whirlwind, and hears Fiona voice. She tells Van that while his friends may not seem to appreciate what he does on the outside, they do care for him. Van then awakens in a new Zoid, which Fiona says is his now. This new Zoid is the Blade Liger. Van defeats the mercenaries with ease, but passes out. When he reawakens, he sees Fiona and Zeke again, and runs to them. He and Fiona talk, and Van asks her how it was like in the whirlwind. She says that it's complicated.

Later on, Dr. D talks with Fiona and says that she is most likely an Ancient Zoidian. He says Fiona regained some memories after fusing with Zeke, though Van fused with Zeke before hand. Later that day, Zeke is caught, and a group of Heldigunners attack. Fiona calls out to Zeke in the same fashion she did early in the series. Zeke escapes the net that covers him, and fuses with the Blade Liger, allowing Van to defeat the Heldigunners. As the group heads to the next village, they hear of a roadblock. Van decides to head out with Rudolph and Irvine through a forest. Fiona and Moonbay (who is posing as a bride) are to meet the two at a rendezvous point. The two get sidetracked, but arrive on time. After helping a village with a vaccine, the group finds themselves at a forked road. Van and Irvine have a race, and Fiona joins Van group (so does Rudolph, but he hides himself). After being attacked by Imperial forces, the group finally arrives at the end of the race, with Irvine and Moonbay winning.

The group, close Guygalos, find themselves at McMahon’s house, who happens to be a very rich man, and was once Moonbay’s boyfriend. Fiona and the group notices that Moonbay still has feeling for him, and decide to leave, though she joins with them again. After the encounter with Moonbay's ex, they travel through the Valley of Heroes. There, they are attacked by The Three Guards. Due to the fights condition, Fiona has to watch from the sideline. She begins to get upset after seeing Van being attacked, and tries to run to him, though Moonbay stops her. Van is able to defeat the guards, and the group finally makes it to Guygalos.

At Guygalos, group takes up residents with Minister Homolef, though Van decides to find the military "science lab". Fiona tags along, and the two are surprised to find that Prozen had been waiting for them. While Van is upset by Prozen's taunts, Fiona jumps from the Liger, and approaches Prozen. Prozen (calling Fiona "Van's girlfriend") is shocked to learn that Fiona is a Ancient Zoidian. Fiona then says her true name: Elisi Linette. She tries to tell Prozen to not use the Death Saurer, though he doesn't listen and kidnaps her, leaving Van to fight off the Rev Raptors. While inside the lab, Fiona sees a chance to escape, and bits Prozen’s arm. She escapes him, but not the compound. Van breaks down a wall and saves her, though the whole lab explodes, and the Death Saurer rises. After escaping it, she and Van come across Raven and his Geno Saurer. Raven tells Van to hand over Fiona, though he refuses. During the fight, she and Zeke are knocked out. When they awake, Fiona notices that Raven is about to fire the Charged Particle Cannon on Van's Liger. Fiona and Zeke quickly fuse with the Liger, and Fiona appears to Van (in a ghost-like form), and tells him that she believes in him. Much to Van's surprise, Fiona kisses him on the lips, showing him that he has her support. With this, Van is able to defeat Raven.

The two don't have time to celebrate, as Prozen begins to attack Guygalos with the Death Saurer. The two rush into the fight, and Fiona does tell Rosso and Viola to fire the Storm Sworders missiles at the fan at the back of the Death Saurer. This stops it from using the Charged Particle Cannon, though for a moment. Fiona also notices Van brings hope to others. Van is able to slice through the Death Saurers core, destroying it and supposedly killing Prozen. With the defeat of the Death Saurer, Van and Fiona leave Guygalos, with Van still keeping his promise to Fiona, of taking her to the Zoids Eve.

Guardian Force

Two years after the fall of the Death Saurer, Fiona is working as a research assistant for Dr. D At a dig site, Fiona notices that Dr. D has a cough, and decides to take him to a doctor (at which Dr. D says he hates doctors, despite being one). Fiona learns that the nearest doctor is in the Wind Colony. Fiona then takes him there in a Gustav. En route, Fiona notices something is wrong, and the Gustav is attacked by a Stealth Viper. Van, whom is around to hear the explosion, quickly comes to the Gustav's aid. While searching the wreck of the Gustav, he comes across a wounded Fiona. Van doesn't recognize her at first, but once she wakes up in his arms does he recognize her. While the two are happy to see one another, Fiona tells Van that he needs to get Dr. D, whom is buried under rubble. Van brings the two back to the village, and leaves them in the care of the local doctor.

Fiona is not as wounded as believed, and she goes to Van's old home. While examining a pocket knife, Van asks her if she is alright. She responds that she is, and the two have a quick chat. After saying that Van had matured (which causes him to blush), the two hear a scream from Van's sister. While Van goes to see what happened, Fiona head back in, and grabs the pocket knife. She finds Van's sister out cold, and Van in a fight with a red Organoid. She throws Van the knife, and Van uses it to fight the Organoid off. The Organoid then fuses with a Stealth Viper, and Van fights it off using the Blade Liger. After protecting Wild Colony again, the two leave to find the Zoids Eve.

During a trip to a village, the two uncover a plot to find Helic gold. Van gets into a fight with a Gun Sniper, and wins. The next stop is a village were O'Connell is stationed. Fiona checks out the village, but finds no one there. Suddenly, a Godos grabs her, and heads on to attack Van. While Fiona calls out for Van to save her, but he hesitates. Zeke then crashes into the Zoid, freeing Fiona. Van is able to take out the Godos, but Fiona asks him why he hesitated. He replies that he doesn't know. Once inside the village, the two are attacked by a girl. While Van is about to knock her out, Fiona stops him, and says she is just scared. Unknown to Van and Fiona, the girl is Reese, another Ancient Zoidian. As Van's group comes to a ruin at the village, Fiona asks him if he is going to fight again. He responds that he will, but only to protect the innocent. While Fiona is worried about Van, Reese confronts her, still faking being a scared girl. Van leaves the two with Zeke, though he runs off after a beetle. At this time, Reese brainwashes Fiona, and tells her that Van doesn't care for her, and that she only gets in his way. She ties Fiona to a post by the church bell. Reese uses this bell to control a group of Godos, and tells Van to attack it. Van knows Fiona is being used as a shield, and to make matters worse, Reese shows Van images of what would happen if Van missed. Fiona knows the risks as well, but doesn't seem to worry. Van is able to destroy the bell, defeat Reese, and save Fiona. After the fight, Van asks Fiona if she was worried, Fiona replies that she knew Van would come through for her.

Later on, Van gets a message to head to a village, were he will met Karl Schubaltz. As they enter the village, Zeke gets cover in paint, and instead of washing it off, Fiona rubs it in. While Van gets frustrated with her, a man with a gun fires at Van. The man is Thomas Richard Schubaltz, Karl's younger brother. He believes Van is the enemy, and is trying to harm a mother and her children. Thomas is not aware that Van is not a enemy, nor is Fiona a mother, the children simply followed the pair. Upon seeing Fiona, Thomas falls for her, but that doesn't keep him from arresting Van. It is not in until Thomas gets a message from Karl that he believes Van's story, though he still doesn't act friendly around Van, mostly due to the fact he sees Van as a rival for Fiona's affection.

Thomas later on tells the two what has been happening, and the group heads out to defeat the bandits acting as Republican Soldiers. After the fight with them, Van and Fiona are assigned to defeat a group of bandits that have been threatening a town in a wooded area. Thomas is also assigned to the group, and they act as transporters. Sure enough, they are attacked by a invisible enemy. After finding out were the enemy went, Van's group finds a base camp. They also find the master mind behind all the recent attacks, Hiltz. Van and Thomas go to confront the enemy, and leave Zeke and Fiona behind. While Van and Thomas are captured, Fiona arrives to save them. For her "rescue operation", Fiona straps a large amount of TNT on Zeke. Fiona equips herself with two assault rifles, and the two arrive on time. While Fiona does threaten to turn anyone who moves into "food for the buzzards", Hiltz has other ideas. He has his red Organoid, Ambient attack Fiona and Zeke. Fiona is knocked off Zeke, and begins to fire wildly, almost killing Van and Thomas, and lighting the TNT. As the group runs, Hiltz orders his Helcats to attack them. The group arrives at their Zoids, and defeat the Helcats. After the fight, Fiona and Van part ways from Thomas.

After a defeat to a Command Wolf, Thomas is stranded in a desert. While he fixes his Dibison, Fiona and Zeke happen across him. She tells Thomas about Van's plan to stop the Zoid Hunters, and Thomas agrees to help them. The two arrive at the Zoid Hunters' Whale King. Thomas fires upon it, while Zeke rescues Van and a unknown person. Happy that Van is safe, Fiona runs over to him, and greets him with a warm embrace. She then notices Irvine, who says she can kiss him later. Fiona is then assigned to rescue the Zoids on board the Whale King, which she does. However, before she can leave, the Whale King lifts off, with Fiona on board. Van rescues her, but the Whale Kings engines fail, and it begins to plummet. Fiona grabs hold of Van, and they see Hiltz, who taunts them and leaves. Afterwards, Irvine saves the two.

Van and Fiona are then assigned to find out what happened to Karl. While Van and Thomas examine the military base, Fiona is kidnapped by a blue Organoid, Specular. Specular takes Fiona to Reese, who shows the defeat of both Van and Thomas. Reese then promises Fiona that she would be safe with her. Fiona responds by biting her, and Reese slaps her. Reese tries to strangle her, and the two get into a fight. Their fight is stopped by Van, who survived the explosion of a Molga. Reese leaves angry at her lose.

After hearing about the destruction of military bases by a boy and black Organoid, Van and Fiona realize that Raven might still be alive. As they set up a defense to defeat Raven, Fiona stares out of a watch tower. Van finds her there, and asks her what’s wrong. Fiona says that she is worried if Raven is alive. Van replies that no matter what, he would always be there for her. Before Fiona can respond, Raven attacks the base. After fighting almost to the end, Raven sees Van, and snaps out of his trance. After leaving, Van and Fiona decide to take a break, and join Rudolph on his time off as well. Thomas finds the two, and blames Van for slacking off. His mood would change once he releases that the boy they are with is Rudolph. Thomas decides to take a break as well, but is upset about something. Marian, Rudolph’s fiancé, asks him what’s wrong, and soon learns he has feelings for Fiona. While she tries to help Thomas get together with Fiona, all their plans fail, as either Zeke or Van get in the way. Before Thomas can tell Fiona how he feels, Stinger (the mercenary that attacked Van early) attacks the group, and kidnaps Rudolph. Van once again defeats him, and he and Fiona leave.

While fixing up the Blade Liger at a military base, Fiona recognizes a Gustav of one that Moonbay had. Sure enough, it is Moonbay, and she explained that she found Thomas totaled Dibison. Before long, Raven and his Geno Saurer attack, and Raven almost kills Van, though Moonbay protects him. Not long after, the base comes under attack by ex-Imperial soldiers, who steal a pair of Storm Sworders. Fiona helps defeat them, as she tells Irvine were to fire at. After the defeat of the Storm Sworders, Van and Fiona get a message from Dr. D to head over to Lumiere Island.

When they arrive at the Island, they find Dr. D in a swimsuit, surrounded by girls. Dr. D explains that he brought the two over here so they can relax. Fiona and Zeke don't need to hear this twice, and quickly head towards the water. It takes some convincing before Van joins in, but he does. Fiona notices that Van is staying around the other girls, and gets jealous, committing to herself that Van is having a bit too much fun. The two would later jump off a rope swing, though Fiona doesn't let go in time, and starts spinning. When she finally lets go, she lands next to Van, and asks him if she won, to which the two begin to laugh. When Van goes to check on Dr. D, Fiona gets lost, and encounters Reese. Reese says that Fiona's name means destruction, and shows her visions of the future, all of which lead to Van's death. After seeing this, Fiona calls out to Van.

Van finds her, and she remarks that he is alive. As Van faces Reese, Reese shows Fiona visions of her past, and Fiona tells Van to save Reese. After the battle, Dr. D says he wanted to vist a ruin on the island, but is only able to catch a glimpse.

Fiona and Van head to the mainland, and is Van quickly called to fight Raven's new Zoid, the Geno Breaker. While Van, and the rest of the Imperial army, is unable to damage the new Zoid, it is able to defeat Irvine. Dr .D, with some help with Fiona, present Irvine with a new Zoid, the Lightning Saix. While Irvine takes displeasure in the new Zoid, he finally agrees to use it. In good time, because the Geno Breaker is about to re-attack. To help defeat the Geno Breaker, the Republic sends Colonel Halford to help with the defeat of the Geno Breaker. Fiona takes a dislike to him, after he silenced her during a meeting and called her a "young girl". Regardless, she watches Van train, and begins to take note that Van is fighting to not fight, but to protect everyone, including her.

To help with the upcoming battle, Fiona makes two shields that can repel the Geno Breaker's Charged Particle Cannon, though they can survive only one hit. She presents them to Irvine and Thomas, in which Thomas thought it was a "personal" gift. After another meeting with Colonel Halford, he tells her to meet him in is office. Fiona does so, but is annoyed to hear that he wanted her to remove the shields. She agrees that she would tell Irvine and Thomas this, but before she leaves, Halford says he would like to assign Fiona to his unit, and off the Guardian Force. With some disgust, Fiona leaves, and does what the Colonel ordered. However, she didn't force the statement, just asked if they would. When Halford confronts her on this, she says it's to keep blood off his hands. As Fiona watches the battle, she notices that Van is losing. She asks Halford to order a retreat, but her replies that they are staying, even if they die. Fiona leaves the control room, and takes control of a Pteras. While heading off to the battle, she worries about Van, and tells him not to attack, though she says it only to herself. As she arrives, Van is knocked off a cliff.

Fiona and the group goes out to find him, and Moonbay makes sure no one says anything that could upset Fiona. Fiona then says that she knows were Van is, and says he's in a lot of pain. They listen to Fiona, and stops by a cliff. As Irvine and Thomas head down into the valley, Thomas asks why everyone has faith in Fiona's feelings. Irvine replies that they trust in her judgment because she loves Van, news which Thomas doesn't take so well. Sure enough, Fiona was right, and the group finds the Blade Liger, though Van is missing. Knowing that Fiona does care deeply for Van (though it's never made clear if Fiona is in love with Van), Thomas says he can call a military base to send out a search party for him. Unknown to the group, the nearest base is controlled by Zeapers, who had a bad past with Van. When Fiona and the group finds Van, he is corned by Rev Raptors and a Red Horn. After defeating Zeapers and his men, Van is able to reunite with Fiona (to which Irvine asks Thomas if he is going to cry). Van does ask her if she was worried, in which Fiona says that she knew he would be safe.

Later on, Van begins to feel that his Liger is sluggish. While everyone thinks he needs new boosters, Fiona begins to see that somthing is wrong with Zeke. While Van doesn't seem to worry that much, Moonbay takes note that Fiona is upset about this. When asked about it, Fiona says that Zeke has a new power that could kill Van. Much to her relief, Zeke's new power is only to speed up Van's Liger. Soon afterwards, Fiona and Zeke are assigned to be bodyguards to Rudolph (though they are his pit crew). Fiona is also assigned to make a recap of what had happened within the last year. After helping Van defeat Gareth's organization and the Trinity Ghost, the two go back to planning to defeat Raven.

One night, Fiona has a nightmare about the Death Saurer, and quickly heads to a scanner. While Moonbay and Thomas wonder what she is up to, she quickly takes a Ptera, a heads out to a remote region. When Moonbay and Thomas find her, they are confronted by Hiltz, who shows off his new Zoid, the Death Stinger. Van would leave to face Reese and her Geno Saurer, while Fiona is to help fix up some Storm Sworders. Moonbay notices that Fiona is upset, and tells her that Van will be fine. She and Moonbay leave the base they are at, and head over to the Ultrasaurus. Fiona and Thomas are given the jobs of starting the massive Zoid back up, which they do. While leaving, Fiona notices that Van and Irvine are about to fight the Death Stinger and an army of Helcats. Knowing there is a good chance Van might not return, Fiona cries out to him, and says that she believes in him, and she wants him to return back alive. She then breaks down and begins crying, while Thomas begins to feel sorry for her.

Later on, Fiona and Moonbay are still waiting for Van and Irvine to arrive. Fiona ask Moonbay what if the two didn't return. Moonbay tells her to not think that way, and before she can respond, the two see two Storm Sworders carrying Van and Irvine. Once the two are onboard, Fiona runs over to Van, and hugs him, stating her happiness for Van being safe. The two spend some time together, but are cut short after the Death Stinger, along with a fleet of Sinkers, attack the Ultrasaurus. After a fierce sea battle, the Sinkers are destroyed, and the Death Stinger is pushed away. While everyone celebrates, Fiona shows some worry, though Van puts his hand on her shoulder, and tells her everything will be fine.

Fiona watches as Van battles more Sinkers and then the Death Stinger. After the Death Stinger is, supposedly, defeated, she takes a Gustav to meet Van, Irvine and Thomas. Suddenly, after the Death Stinger attacks her Gustav then vanishes, she vanishes, and reappears in the Zoids Eve. The Dark Kaiser (Prozen) introduces himself, and tries to brainwash Fiona. Fiona does acts brainwashed, though she isn't. She is able to call out for Van to help her. Van gets this message, and sends out Zeke to save her. Hiltz arrives, and betrays Prozen, taking control of the Death Saurer. Fiona, knowing it's her destiny to defeat the Death Saurer, begins the process of destroying the Zoid Eve. Van stops her from doing this, saying he doesn't want to lose any of his friends. Van comes up with the idea of firing himself from the Gravity Cannon, and into the Death Saurer. Fiona, and Zeke then fuse with the Blade Liger, and leave with Van.

As the series comes to a close, she leaves with Zeke and Van, to find new adventures, and to possibly start a romantic relationship with Van.

Manga

Much like her anime counterpart, Fiona's past in the manga is highly unknown. She had made her first appearance in "A Young Woman's Awakening" in which she awoke during a battle between Van and Raven's berserk Zaber Fang. By communicating with Zeke the Command Wolf, she is able to learn of the situation and is able to heal Van by kissing him. After healing Van and Zeke, she then collapses from using up too much energy. Van and Zeke then fuse with the Command Wolf but are still unable to defeat Raven and the Zaber Fang, suddenly Fiona musters up enough energy to inform Van about the Command Wolf's final attack, the Ragnarok Fang which had previously killed Dan and the Command Wolf ten years ago.

After defeating Raven, Van and Fiona head off to explore the mystery of Fiona's past.

Personality

When Van first finds her, Fiona lacks most basic knowledge. As such, she acts strange, talks funny, and seems to not care if Van sees her without any clothes on. She is also air headed, and normally doesn't know when she is in danger. Aside from these, she is also head strong, and doesn't mind to speak her mind (dispite its oddness). As the series heads moves on, Fiona's personality changes dramaticaly. She becomes more mature, and more careful. She also becomes very intelligent with Zoids, and helps with the upgrade of the Blade Liger.

Her overall personality is that of a kind and caring one. She always watches over her friends and gets worried if any of them are in trouble. She does try to protect her friends if they are in trouble as well, though it normally doesn't go so well. Fiona is also a apologetic person, and normally apologizes everytime she does somthing wrong. She even apologizes for things she didn't do, or for no reason at all (such as not being able to help Van with his Attack Boosters).

She has a taste for salt, as she is normally seen emptying entire salt shakers into cups of coffees, and covering her food in salt. Her friends don't care much for this taste, though Dr. D enjoys it.

Appearance

Anime

In the Anime, Fiona is shown with bright blond hair. She has two hair "antennae" in the front of her face. She has two triangular shaped clumps of hair on the side of her head that turn backwards. She has a ponytail, and long hair, which does reach down to her legs in Chaotic Century. In Guardian Force, her hair is shorter, reaching down to mid-back. She has a somewhat rounded face, with two and a typical hour-glass shaped body. She has bright red eyes, that either have wide pupils, or no pupils at all. She does have two marks on her forehead, which appear to be aqua colored triangles.

She is around the same height as Van in Chaotic Century. In Guardian Force, while she has grown, she is shorter than Van, meaning he has to look down on her to make eye contact.

In Chaotic Century, she has a somewhat high pitched voice. In Guardian Force, her voice is deeper, making her sound mature.

Chaotic Century

When Van first found her, Fiona was wearing nothing, so she is given a makeshift outfit of old rags. Soon, she is given the outfit she would wear throughout Chaotic Century. The outfit consists of a pink one-part suit. The suit has a red trim around the legs and arms, along with a red belt. It also have a white neck-round collar. The legs of the suit are pink with red trim in the front and back, but white with a tan trim on the sides.

She wears a orange gloves that exposes the fingers, and with a part the extends over half the ring finger. She does wear standard orange boots.

She wears a ribbon that holds the ponytail toghter. It does seem to change color, as it appears in colors such as red, orange, and in some cases, blue.

Guardian Force

The first outfit Fiona is seen wearing in the series is a orange one-part suit. Like her old clothes, it has a white collar. The suit does have a green trim on the arms and the skirt. She also wears a purple belt, which is tied in the back like a ribbon. Instead of a ribbon holding her ponytail, she has a aqua colored headband.

The second outfit Fiona is shown is another pink one-one suit, with a collar that covers the entire neck. The suit has a green trim that starts from the back, and combines at the chest. From there, the trim extends to the edge of the outfit, then covers all the edges. This trim might be a zipper, as two zipper like objects appear at the start of the trim. She does wear a brown belt around the waist. The suit does have parts of the top cut out, reveling parts of her shoulder. The suit is short-sleeved, and Fiona is seen wearing arm warmers over the rest of her arms. The suit doesn't have a pants part, so Fiona wears dark-red shorts that covers about half the leg. For shoes, Fiona is shown wearing regular pink colored shoes. Fiona also wears the same headband

Manga

Ability as a Zoid Pilot

Unlike Van, Fiona does not have her own Zoid. The most common Zoid Fiona is shown in is a Pteras. While piloting a Zoid, she does appearer to be a somewhat capable pilot, though she is never in combat. She does pilot Van's Blade Liger from time to time.

Relationships

Like Van, Fiona has her own unique relations as well:

Anime

Van: The two had somewhat of a rocky start, as Van is shown to get annoyed of Fiona's odd behavior, or when she puts herself in danger. He also gets irritated when Fiona reminds him of things he already knows about, or when she trys to stop him from piloting Zoids. The two are able to over come these differences, and do become closer as the series wears on. The two would develop a bond, and a close friendship. Fiona does care deeply for Van, and is normally worried or upset when Van goes into Zoid battles. Fiona also acts territorial about Van, and gets jealous when he is around other girls (with the exception of Moonbay). It is hinted that Fiona did develop feelings for Van, and had fallen in love with him. She does embrace Van on a few occassions, and even gave Van a kiss during his last battle with Raven (which surprised Van).

Zeke: Fiona is very fond of Zeke. She does take notice if anything is wrong with him, and tries her best to make him feel better. Like all Ancient Zoidians, she can understand what a Organoid can say, and is seen talking with Zeke from time to time. Zeke is seen risking his life to protect her, and he was seen about sacrifice himself with Fiona to destroy the Zoids Eve (though Van talks the two out of it).

Moonbay: The two have a sister-like relationship. Moonbay will normally act as a older sister to Fiona, and tells her what to do, how to act, or how to look. Moonbay also watchs out for Fiona, and does her best to protect her from harm. Moonbay does know that Fiona cares deeply for Van, and tells her to not worry when Van is away.

Irvine: Irvine has somewhat of a older brother like relationship with Fiona. He normally does his best to watch over her, and gets angry with anyone who trys to hurt her. He also gets mad with Van after he thinks Van broke his promise with Fiona. Irvine, like Moonbay, is aware that Fiona cares deeply for Van, and he had said Fiona was in love with Van.

Thomas: Dispite Thomas's bad start with Van, Fiona is friends with him. She is unaware of Thomas feelings for her, or for the fact Thomas sees Van as a rivial for Fiona. Because of this, Thomas normally overreacts everytime Fiona compliments him, or gives him parts for his Zoid.

Reese: Reese and Fiona are rivials, much like Raven and Van are rivals. Reese holds a strong hate of Fiona, and normally mocks her or harms her (such as the time Reese strangled Fiona). Reese does seem to know that Fiona cares for Van, and will normally taunt Fiona with visions of Van's deaths, or say that Fiona would lead Van to his death. By the end of the series, Fiona and Reese are shown to be somewhat more friendly towards one another, though it's never said if they are friends.

Manga

Van: Fiona and Van, like in the anime, form a close bond in the manga after they meet. She is often concerned about Van's well-being, as he frequently heads off into battles. On many occasions, she is seen worrying over Van, or using her special powers to aid him in his fights against enemies. She is very loyal to Van, as she is shown almost always at his side.

Zeke: Like in the anime, Fiona is able to understand what Zeke says; when she first meets Van, she mentions that Zeke told her his name. Zeke will perform whatever action Fiona wishes of him, which she seems to communicate telepathically.

Irvine: Although Fiona and Irvine don't seem to interact much, it is clear that Irvine cares for her safety. This is demonstrated in volume 4 of the manga, after he, Van, Fiona, Moonbay, and Zeke are ambushed by a group of bandits. When one of the thieves threatens to kill Fiona, Irvine points his gun at her, warning her that she'll be dead if she tries.

Moonbay: Like in the anime, Moonbay and Fiona seem to have a more sister-like relationship. Although they don't talk much to each other, it seems that they have a mutual respect for the other, and are fond of the other's company.
