The Bio Raptor Gui is a Microraptor-type Zoid, one of over 200 species of biomechanical lifeforms depicted by TOMY's Zoids model, toy, and media franchise.
Overview
The Bio Raptor Gui is a regular Bio Raptor redesigned for flight; its forelimbs have been modified into wings. They became the new fear in the skies in Genesis, where they were used as bombers.
Media Appearances
Anime
As only a few Zoids could fly in Genesis, the Bio Raptor Gui was almost completely unopposed in the skies. The Zoid had limited firepower and maneuverability, but made up for its weaknesses with large numbers. Bio Raptor Guis always attacked in groups, firing or dropping waves of explosive projectiles.
Bio Raptor Guis were often led by Felme in her Bio Ptera.
Games
The Bio Raptor Gui appeared in Super Robot Wars K.
Models
Genesis
The Bio Raptor Gui was released as part of the Genesis line. It was molded in blue, silver, and gold, and came with a small red pilot. Being a converted Bio Raptor, the model shares many parts with the Bio Raptor model. It was not motorized and is poseable. Owing to its shared parts, it is also one of the only plastic Bio Zoid models, along with the Bio Raptor (instead of being molded from hard rubber).
