Overview

A Dengeki Hobby Shop Exclusive that was released as a limited Kit. The zoid was created by ZOITEC Corperation. It is the the counterpart to the Zi-Arms Foundation's Blitz Haken. In addtion to a matching color scheme, since Hobby magazine showed the Blitz Haken broken down as extra parts for the Brastle Tiger, it is believed that Hobby Magazine also showcased the Blitz Hornet in one of thier magazines broken down as extra parts for the limited Whitz Tiger Imatate. If not, many fans still believe that this was still intended, as no photo of the "official" fusion has been located.

Blitz Hornet was featured in Zoids VS III.

Models

Like the other Blitz Zoids, the Blitz Hornet comes on a single frame with no instructions, being a very easy build. No stickers were ever produced for this zoid. The kit is molded in enterly yellow plastic with a standard gray pilot figure and includes one silver Blox cube. As with the box art for the Blitz Haken, the box art for the Blitz Hornet depicted it and its pilot with several painted details which were not actualy a part of the kit.

A customized version was featured in the Zoids: Generations storyline. Named Blitz Pepsys, It had a new color-scheme as well as a new minigun that replaces the poison dart. The entire zoid had been completely re-designed from the wings to the core body. It was also changed to a wasp type instead of a hornet type. It is believed that the zoid was intended to be packaged with extra parts, so that different color variations could be created. These are shown in a DH magazine , however it is likely these were just other customs created by Hobby Magazine.
