The Brachiorakete is a dedicated anti-aircraft Zoid of the Dinas Empire, used during the invasion of the Beith Republic. It provides protection for Raptojaguars and Stegoganzers from aerial threats such as the Hurricanehawk with its arsenal of surface-to-air weapons and the sophisticated scanning equipment in its head. Like all Dinas Zoids, it has a special cockpit that can detach and operate as an escape pod. Some Brachioraketes are configured as transport vessels, delivering the war materiel the Empire requires as its forces advance.
The "rakete" portion of its name is German for "rocket".
The Brachiorakete can combine with Raptojaguar and Stegoganzer to form Groundrago.
Battle Story Appearances
The primary attack force of the Dinas Empire during its invasion of the Beith Republic was the massive Groundrago, but despite early successes, the Groundragos' march forward bogged down as they were subjected to aerial bombardment by Bitegriffons. The Dinas forces attempted to counter by separating into their component Zoids, but despite the Brachioraketes' great anti-aircraft abilities, the Dinas commanders chose to withdraw their forces to their mobile fortress.
The Brachiorakete was initially released in April 2006 as part of the Neoblox line. It includes one small, one medium and one large Neoblox and a silver-chrome Imperial pilot.
The Brachiorakete was also released in July 2006 as part of Groundrago. Due to the inclusion of Hurricanehawk parts with Rapto Caesar, Brachiorakete is the sole Neoblox model with only two uses in the line.
