Commence Battle - Attack Liger Zero is the first episode from the anime series Zoids: New Century Zero based on TOMY's Zoids model franchise.

Overview

The episode starts with a scheduled battle between the Blitz team and the Tigers team. With Bit Cloud savaging junk parts nearby. Hidden under optical stealth, Bit managed to avoid detection by the Judge and stay inside the battlefield. The tigers team quickly attacked the Blitz team, taking down Leena's Dibison and Brad's Command Wolf. Leon, using his Shield Liger, managed to damage one of the Zaber Fangs. However, since it was three vs one, he needed to conserve shield energy. As he turned off his shield, the Zoid tripped on Bit's Truck. The judge called an end to the battle, but not before Leon took substantial damage.

Bit felt sorry for Leon and went to the Blitz team to make up for it. He was caught as an intruder, and tied up. He did not stay tied up for long, soon after, the Liger Zero cut his ropes and Bit piloted it away. This took the Blitz Team by surprise, as it was the first time anyone had been able to pilot the Liger Zero.

The scheduled rematch between the Blitz Team and the Tigers Team went under way, with Brad and leena fighting against what appeared to be two Zaber Fangs. However, the third damaged Tiger was used as a fixed turret, to snipe the enemy Zoids. Leena was quickly surrounded, but an impromptu appearance of the Liger Zero interrupted the Tiger's assault. Following a mid-battle registration Bit was made a Blitz team member, and he defeated two of the Zaber Fangs, with Brad defeating the third.
