Anime
The Dimepulsar appears in Zoids: Wild, where it is known as Dimomite.
The Dimomite first appears in episode 32 where it is used by Haxile, to great effect, nearly defeating all of Team Freedom in one attack. However, at this stage it was prototypical, so prolonged use could not be sustained.
The Dimomite's Dark Blast causes it to fire a wave out that injures nearby Zoids. Haxile uses countermeasures to ensure it doesn't affect Dark Metal forces. This area-of-effect attack is hard to avoid, and is exceptionally potent.
As Haxile upgrades the Zoid, he installs a secret weapon into it: Demise DNA. Intended to be a last resort, using it would massively boost the power of the Dimomite's Death Blast.
The Dimomite is put to significant use in episode 37. Its Dark Blast is used strategically by Haxile to pin down Freedom while Numb-Lock attacks. Cauter are used to amplify the Dimomite's attack. This proves to be an overwhelmingly successful tactic.
However, the battle gets thrown with the arrival of Team Supreme. Haxile is forced to activate his last resort, and hits three members of Supreme: Tremor, Pach and Scrapes. The attack wrestled control away from Team Supreme, and caused the three Zoids to join Dark Metal.
