Help! This article is currently in pieces! If you have the instructions, or are just an expert on Zoid construction, you can help the Zoids Wiki by assembling this poor fella. |
The Glaive Quama (EZ-059) is a Longisquama-type Zoid, a race of biomechanical lifeforms from the fictional Zoids universe.
Overview
The Glaive Quama was was originally developed for air-to-ground attacks. In active combat, it proved to be a good dogfighter, surpassing the Redler, despite its small size. It was also capable of carrying other micro-sized Zoids using the special hook installable on its belly, which proved useful in its service as part of the Eisen Dragoon unit.

Zoids (1999)
The Glaive Quama comes on 8 frames, and is molded in black and purple, with an additional clear red frame for its eyes/crest and cockpit cover. It includes two sets of stickers; one with usual details and warnings, and a second one with red marking stickers for its tail and legs.
It has no motor, instead being posable with joints in the neck, tail, hips/shoulders, and legs. The wings can be posed either upright or out as if flying, and the cockpit (and attached wings) are removable.
As well as the regular pilot figure, the Zoid comes with two other other figures, making them a "ground crew" of sorts.
It also comes with a small name plate.
Zoids: Build Customize
The Glaive Quama was released as part of the Zoids: Build Customize line. In North America, the box was Hasbro-branded. No changes were made to the model, save for the packaging.
