Kotobukiya's Zoids is the seventh incarnation of the Zoids line to be issued in Asia and went on sale in the late 2006. The line, Zoids High-end Master Models (officially abbreviated as HMM), is a joint effort between Kotobukiya and Takara-Tomy featuring highly detailed, high-quality, highly poseable Zoids models in the series previous 1/72th releases.
There is no official backstory for the line given so far.
The Models
Though there are no actual factions yet to be announced for the line, it reflects the Original and New Release Lines, and as such, those factions shall be used for organizing the models.
The Helic Republic
Currently consists of 4 models, with 2 more planned for future release:
- RPZ-03 Shield Liger
- RPZ-03D Desert Liger (Alternative color scheme Shield Liger)
- RPZ-07-II Shield Liger MK-II (alternative color scheme Shield Liger with add-on beam cannons)
- RHI-03 Command Wolf
- RHI-03LC Command Wolf LC (Alternative color scheme Command Wolf with long range rifle)
- RZ-028 Blade Liger
- RZ-042 Command Wolf AC (Alternative color scheme Command Wolf with additional weaponry)
The Guylos Empire
Currently consists of 2 models, with 2 (3 if both Molgas are counted) more planned for future release:
- EZ-026 Geno Saurer
- EPZ-003 Saber Tiger.
- Molga and Molga Cannonry (2-in-1 pack, alternate colour and additional part included)
- Command Wolf LC (Alternative color scheme Command Wolf with long range rifle)
Upcoming Models
- Blade Liger AB Leon Specification (Alternative color scheme Blade Liger with add-on attack booster)
Designation codes for these zoids are unknown at this point in time.
