Overview

Matt is a young orphan child who initially lives on his own. He is a huge fan of RD, and invites him back to his house when the two meet in episode 5. RD is alerted to the fact that Savage Hammer, lead by Burton, is trying to demolish the area where Matt lives, so as to redevelop it. After this episode, Matt is essentially adopted by Mach Storm, and RD takes him under his wing, teaching him how to pilot a Leoblaze, although he is not very good at it. Throughout the series, he acts in a very naive and immature way, getting into trouble constantly, especially in episode 12, where he gets inadvertently involved in the construction of the Matrix Dragon, and a as a result, Mach Storm's Leoblaze is stolen.

Personality

Matt is a child, so his immature behaviour is to be expected. He is also rather determined, and will go out of his way to accomplish his goals, but his naivety often gets him in trouble.

Ability as a Zoid Pilot

Matt is only a fledgling pilot, and due to his young age, has almost no skill. Zoids he pilot often run out of control, and when they are in control, he is usually swiftly defeated.

Relationships

Like ever other character, Matt has his own unique relationships.

RD: Matt basically worships RD, and the two get along very well. Their childish natures often coincide, which often multiplies the trouble they get into.

Sweet: Sweet acts to Matt in much the same way she does to the also immature RD, with a kind of sisterly, or motherly, manner.
