Overview

After the first Death Saurers were deployed, the Republic was forced to reatreat to the central mountain range, where they created a new armed force. The Neptune was used for both amphibious combat and support for the more heavily armed Megatopros, making at useful at almost any battlefield. The Neptune was equiped with transparent "bullet proof" armor to makeup for limited moving space in the narrow mountains. In the mountains, the Rupublic resorted to guerrilla warfare to fight the invading Zenebas Death Saurers. The Neptune wasn't too heavily armed, but it was small, fast and amphibious, making it a well equiped for mountain combat.

Orignal Japanese Release

• Assembly required. (Snap-together, no glue needed. Scissors or X-acto knife recommended for trimming off excess plastic bits.)
• The model's colours are moulded into the plastic, and it does not need any paint; however some details are pre-painted.

The kit was released in 1988, as part of the 24scale line. The kit is larger than a Power Up 1000, wind-up, simple to assemble, and possesses one pilot wearing an underwater suit. This Zoid, like his fellows Megatroops and Battlerover, has a big transluscent flat part covering the head and most of the body.

Zevle

Zevle Bolide

The kit was released in Japan in 1994 with the Zevle line, almost identical to the original except for the color scheme, and the pilot that has to be painted and built. He was named Bolide.

Toy's Dream Project

The kit was re-issued completely identical to the original along with other vintage kits on the Toy's Dream Project line.
