Onigiriis a fictional character from Zoids: Wild. He is the second member of Team Freedom outside of Arashi.

Overview

Zoids Wild

Arashi meets Onigiri in Episode 7, after the events in that episode, Onigiri joins Team Freedom. Onigiri is a "boy professor" and is very knowledgeable/passionate about Zoids. He was initially developing the technology required for Death Metal to use their Death Blast. But was reluctant to do his research due to the harm it caused the Zoids.

Trivia

Like most characters in Zoids Wild, Onigiri's name is based on food. Onigiri is a japanese "rice ball" snack. A rice-ball like logo can be seen on Onigiri's back.
Onigiri's fanaticism is often used to introduce Zoids during the series. When a new Zoid appears, Onigiri explains its name, type and abilities. This can happen even when Onigiri is nowhere near the Zoid in question, such as is the case with the Knuckle Kong.
