Quad Liger

A Republic Ancient Liger-type Zoid released only as a gashapon in May 2003, available with set 11 of the gashapon series. It was considered a Zoidcore creation like a number of limited Zoids models, even though the Quad Liger was never seen as a full scale model.

This blue, white and gold Liger is said to have a tightly coupled cluster of heterogeneous Zoid cores. Several computer renderings of this Zoid were made also. Some CGI's were done by Kadbyi in late 2002.

Media Appearances

The Quad Liger appears (photographed and digitally rendered) only in advertisements, most of which are promoting the gashapon Zoids themselves . At one time this Zoid had a brief description found on Tomy's Zoid website but it was lost along with many of the Zoids Web Comics when the site was updated.

Other

The weaponry possessed by this Zoid includes a set of Laser Claws, Plasma Discharger (mounted on its mane), tail gun, and Bite Fangs. Whether the Quad Liger could mount additional weapons is unknown. The Quad Liger also possesses a powerful E-Shield and, in one of the CGI's, a pair of vents on its sides. Its size is similar to the Blade Liger, roughly 12 meters high and 25 meters long, though it is lighter, weighing in at 110 tons. The Quad Liger is extremely agile with a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph), out pacing even the Liger Zero Jager.
