The Sandspeeda(サンドスピーダ) (sometimes misspelled Sandspeeder^{[citation needed]}) is part of the 1/24 Line and is one of the few Zoids able to connect with other Zoids (mostly the Megatropos).

Overview

Designed around ZAC 2043 for the Megatopros, the Sandspeeda acted as a support unit for the Megatopros, as most of the Megatropos weapons are placed on its front, the Sandspeeda was designed to "dock" with it and would act as rear based turret. The Sandspeeda is lightly armed and has almost no armor so it doesn't travel without its Megatopros guard in times of war. With its cheap design and being easy to handle it would be used afterwards as a personal speeder used for everyday activities.

After the Helic Republic was defeated by the Death Saurer, the Republic was forced to retreat to the Central Mountain Range. They adapted to guerilla-type warfare using mostly hit and run tactics. The Megatopros was the Republic's "heavy hitter" at the time, but it lacked rear protection. As a result they deployed the Sandspeeda as a support unit that could dock with the Megatropos and act as a turret. When a battle started and the Sandspeeda wasn't already equipped to the Megatropos, it was forced to retreat as it had no armor and only a Mini Machine Gun as a weapon.

24-Scale Zoids

Sandspeeda

The Zoid was released as part of the 24-Scale Zoids Line and is relatively easy to build. It comes with the Pilot and a Sub Machine Gun for the Pilot as well.
