Stinger[2] is a fictional character from Zoids: Chaotic Century and Zoids: Guardian Force. He is a minor recurring antagonist in both seasons.

Overview[]

Chaotic Century[]

Stinger first appears during the plot to assassinate Crown Prince Rudolph, where he, knowing a huge sum of money is there for the taking, appears before Medlonik (Prozen's assassin) and his men and offers to help them take out Rudolph. He does this for his own goals however, seeking to retrieve the Organoid Zeke from the glowing sphere that had engulfed Van's Shield Liger at the time. Through poison, he is able to get Rudolph's Imperial Ring, but is not able to finish the job, as the newly-evolved Blade Liger emerges and defeats him.

Guardian Force[]

Stinger returns in Guardian Force, once again targeting Rudolph. He teams up with the Crossbow Brothers, but is defeated by the Guardian Force. Following this, he is sent to prison, where he remains for most of the series, until Hiltz makes a move on the prison with his Death Stinger. Stinger is evacuated from the prison, with the help of the members of the Trinity Ghost, before bumping into (literally) the Crossbow Brothers once again. They decide that being set free would be meaningless if they were to simply let the world be destroyed by Hiltz, and take a stand against him. Though their ultimate fate is unknown, their attack is futile, and the whole area is annihilated by Hiltz's Charged Particle Cannon.

Zoids Tactics[]

Stinger survived the battle against Hiltz, and currently works for Neo Zenebas Empire.[3]

His new zoids is Death Stinger:ZS.

Personality[]

Stinger's Saber Fang

Stinger's highly modified Sabre Tiger

A so-called "handsome" man, Stinger is known to be very ruthless. His reputation as being incredibly skilled earned him the nickname "fisherman". He fights with highly modified Zoids, and uses poisons and chemical weapons to incapacitate his victims. He is known to be sharp-witted, and regularly catches his prey off-guard. As a side note, he orders milk when he goes to bars.

Relationships[]

Like every other character, Stinger has his own unique relationships;

Crossbow Brothers: Stinger and the pair of mercenaries are seen to know each other quite well, and although the latter know of Stinger's reputation, they are also confident enough in their own abilities to think that they can accomplish what he could not. When they eventually get captured, they blame Stinger for their incarceration, but are quickly brought over to his side and agree to fight with him against Hiltz. As with Stinger, their ultimate fate is unknown, but it is fairly safe to assume they were killed by Hiltz's Charged Particle Cannon.

Zoids Legacy Database Entry[]

The following text pertains to information sourced from the game Zoids Legacy. This game used a translation format that differs from the one used by the Zoids Wiki. It also contains grammatical and typographical errors. As such, any quoted content that appears to be incorrect should be cross-referenced with the game before being edited.

"A prize hunter, who is after Van. Contrary to his feminine looks, he is cruel and sly, often using weapons such as poison gas. His only orders at bars are milk for beauty and health purposes."

Trivia[]

  • Stinger shares notable similarities with Bentham, a character from One Piece. Both characters were voiced by Kazuki Yao and made their debuts in 2000 where Stinger made the first appearance on February 26th and Bentham made the first appearance on March 27th. Both are okama and transvestists, and are assassins, and worked under villains to target royalties to usurp the thrones with ancient weapons of mass destruction. Both have flamboyant, flashy, and queer personalities, and initially appeared as villains, but later reunited with former villainous allies during their imprisonments. Both were influenced by protagonists and redeemed, and worked together to break out of prisons, and challenged greater threats to save others and bravely fought, and almost died in consequences, but survived and joined to different organizations.
