During the fight against Alpha Richter, his Victory Liger can combine with Acty's Victory Rex that resulted the creation of the Victory Liger VF (W Victory Liger in Japanese).

How does the Victory Liger have a non-Japanese name if VS III was never released outside of Japan? -LV55 (talk) 14:38, December 21, 2012 (UTC)

No idea. In fact, I have no idea where "Victory Liger VF" comes from at all. Sylvanelite (talk) 23:39, December 21, 2012 (UTC)
Talking totally out of my ass, I'd guess someone came up with it to match the other "VF" types (Victory Form?), not realizing the Japanese frequently use "W" to simply mean "double", as in Victory Victory Liger. -LV55 (talk) 04:41, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
I checked Zoids saga DS and Zoids saga fuzors, both seem to call it W Victory Liger. I'm not really going to speculate what the W means. "double V" is a possibility, but I guess "W" could mean "Will"? Anyway, I'll give it a few days for someone to find a citation for Victory Liger VF, otherwise I'll remove it.
