Originally appearing in the Zoids Saga series, the Trinity Liger was also used in the Zoids VS series of video games, playing a minor role. In the Zoids VS series, a pair of CP-12 Attack Boosters can be put in place of the Twin Beam Cannons.

The Trinity Liger was featured as part of the Zoids Scramble release of Zoids Trading Cards.

The Trinity Liger is a one-of-a-kind kit, made by a winner of a Zoids customizing contest. The only other Trinity Ligers are not model kits, but gashapon mini figures to be used with the Hover Cargo, Dragoon Nest, and Whale King.
