so what's up in the zoids world? none for takara tomy and score some more for kotobukiya. new HMM will arrive this year. a new command wolf variant, two molga variants, the gun sniper and the much awaited (for me perhaps...) iron kong. you can check out some details regarding the models in their respective articles.
new zoids key chains were also released tied in with the coca-cola corp. too bad its not world wide. as with most great things japanese, they tend to keep it to themselves. (no offense to the japanese) the dark dimetrodon has been set on limited sale during last july's toy convention in japan, only. (once again, great, just great)
someday, maybe some zoids-crazy country out there would try and make their own limited garage kits or cps that would make the mother country green with envy... i mean, anybody with the right resource and motivation could probably pull this one off, then not referring to takara tomy or zoids to avoid license conflicts but produce evidence (i.e. pictures) of the kit or a cp on a kit... would drive zoids fans everywhere... oh well.
somewhere out there, several months ago, an independent body bought a lot of KGs and chromed them all (in different glorious shades) and re-packed them. they even managed to get the grammar on some of the box writings wrong (probably a salute to some japanese zoids boxes...), making it quite authentic. some of the colors even sold out. (heck, i wouldn't mind having one) just one story among others.
