greetings everyone... it has really been a while. i see the site has grown quite considerably and far from what i saw it from. it has been brought to my attention, somewhat disturbing but not at all surprised, that because of some information inaccuracies the wiki has been getting bad press from the "true zoids fans" out there.
but there is at least some light in the dark. quoting from some of the more level headed people in the "thread", "The wiki system has always relied on people with the correct information catching and overwriting false or misinformed entries. In more generalized wikis and those with heavy traffic, this system generally prevails. However, topic-specific wikis, such as those devoted to TV shows, toy franchises, and what have you, do not enjoy the same amount of patronage. Fewer users means fewer editors who know what is true and what is false."
there you have it. thus the reason why there are wikis anyway. everybody's welcome to correct/rewrite anything that they feel is wrong/innacurate. it took a lot of time to compile this amount of data which i feel has surpassed most zoids sites out there already, and i thank all contributors for giving some time for the wiki and after 4 years it's still there. (number 3 on a google search for zoids)
now for some news. holotech LZ CAS recast, holotech LZ souga CAS recast and a new gravity cannon CP. all fan made. all soon available for mass production. the sad thing is, since all are made in very limited quantities and are made as you order them it sets you back at least 500USD. pretty steep for most collectors.
oh, just so all of you all know... most of the starting materials here were really from wikipedia. but when wikipedia opted to delete the data on models posted then, because it wanted to classify everything under one zoids page, moves had to be made to preserve the posted pages.
most of the older people here would remember that the site started out as just a site that would try to document all the models that were produced since TT started the franchise. Now it has branched out to cover several medias. nice to see all the changes since...
