Walter Borman is a fictional character from Zoids: Wild ZERO.

Overview

Zoids Wild ZERO

Walter Borman is the grandfather of Sally Land. He is a researcher and 1st generation immigrant from Planet Zi.

He originally came with a scheme for "Zi Forming" Earth to be habitable to Zoids and those from Zi. However, a mutiny takes places on the spaceship intended for this, and the plan ultimately fails.

After fleeing the Empire, Sally Land goes in search of him, and this starts the events of the series.

His first appearance in person, is during episode 5. Where he has a chance encounter with the Gatling Fox.

Personality

He is shown to be kind and caring for both people and Zoids.

Ability as a Zoid pilot

As a researcher, he does not pilot a Zoid.

Trivia

Like Sally Land, Dr Borman's age is higher than otherwise would be expected. After escaping their science vessel he entered deep sleep for around 30 years, waking around 1 year before the start of the series.
Unlike Sally, Borman was not exposed to the orange light of the pendant unit. Therefore he often requires a breathing mask.
