Vow
Vow an episode from the anime series Zoids: Genesis based on TOMY's Zoids model franchise.
Overview
The episode begins with the main characters entering the fortified city of Zuuri. The group are met by Da-Jin, a long time acquaintance of Ra-Kan. Da-Jin once was Ra-Kan's chief retainer, a man of high importance. Everyone introduced themselves by their full names, except Seijuurou, who only gave his first name (his full name is never revealed). People from all over who had been attacked by Digald, had taken refuge in Zuuri.
As they converse, Da-Jin shows them a map of "the world" (however, Ron observes it is only a map of the continent, the others didn't know better at this stage.) Collectively, the group is surprised by how big the scale of the map was. Despite all their travels, they had only covered a few centimetres on the map. Ra-Kan revealed all the places that Digald had taken, only to show that the tiny portion of the map where they had been travelling was nearly all that was left unoccupied by Digald.
Mii, who was not present at the meeting, had been outside the entire time. She had been visiting the grave of her father. Mii's mother (Ra-Kan's younger sister) had died at an early age, and her father had been a Lanstag pilot. This Zoid was none other than the one she currently used. Her father had fallen fighting Digald. It was the death of Mii's father that caused Ra-Kan to leave the country. Despite Ra-Kan telling her otherwise, Mii followed him. She had made a promise with her father just before he died to protect Ra-Kan. Learning of how valuable Mii's Zoid was to her, Ruuji helped clean it. Afterwards, Seijuurou began training with Ruuji to fight using the Hayate Liger.
At night, while the others slept Ra-Kan was reappointed as the leader he once was. It wasn't until dawn that they held a proper ceremony. Promising to make "a world where everyone can smile", Ra-Kan addressed his people.
