Invasion
Invasion is an episode from the anime series Zoids: Genesis based on TOMY's Zoids model franchise.
Overview
Jiin prepares his troops, while a Decalto Dragon observes from above. This was one of the sky people's Zoids. The creation of the Bio Raptor Gui was against the terms of the contract between Digald and the people of the Sky. Digald had created the Bio Raptor Gui on their own, not from plans traded with people of the sky. He insisted the Bio Raptor Gui was only to fight against the fort of Zuuri, not to take down the city in the sky. Despite this obvious lie, he managed to get away with the deployment of the Bio Raptor Gui. It turned out Felme had leaked her Bio Ptera's blueprints to aid Digald in producing the Bio Raptor Gui. She believed it would make things "more interesting".
Whilst the people of the sky were afraid of flying Zoids, they were much more afraid of the deployment of the GilDragon. As such, they believed it to be a worthy risk to allow Jiin to have flying Zoids as he exterminated Ra-Kan's forces.
The Bio Raptor battalion quickly bombed Zuuri. Being both flying and equipped with Bio Armour, the Zoids were more than a match for Zuuri's defences. The city was heavily damaged. During the chaos, Souta (who was defeated in Zuuri previously), was picked up and taken along with the citizens. He had amnesia, and was being cared for by Mii. She named him Gin, after his necklace. Kotona recognised him as one of Digald's soldiers.
Ruuji had sent Kotona out to investigate the source of the flying Zoids. She found they had come from Torafu. By the way the flying Zoids had bombed Zuuri and then immediately retreated, Ruuji guessed they had a limited flight range.
When word spread about Souta's origins, panic began to spread. He took over Deadly Kong, where he fought against the Murasame Liger. The citizens wanted to extract revenge against Digald and vented their anger against Souta. Ruuji, however, reminded them of how people had been forced to be Digald soldiers. When the citizens realised Souta was a child, they realised what Ruuji said was true and let him be.
