Charge
Charge is an episode from the anime series Zoids: Genesis based on TOMY's Zoids model franchise.
Overview
The episode beings with a test-run of the Bio Tyranno. Jiin fights against a large number of Bio Raptors, annihilating them with one shot. As he finishes, he receives message that Felme was having success attacking Zuuri with her Bio Raptor Gui forces.
Zurri was still in ruin, and the citizens were is a state of mass panic. The sight of birds caused them to think the Bio Raptor Gui's were back. Despite this, Zuuri still had underground areas, which protected the generator. Ra-Kan and the others knew, Digald could use these flying Zoids to wreck havoc across the land, they had to find a way of defeating them.
None of the others had ideas about how to defeat the flying Zoids, except for Ruuji. He was initially hesitant about the idea, he knew it would cause much hardship to the people of Zuuri. Da-Jin convinced him to voice the idea.
His plan was to let the flying Zoids attack the city again. His plan was to wait for Digald scouts to arrive, and trick them into attacking Zuuri again. Then, as the flying Zoids went to Zuuri, Ruuji and his forces would move to Torafu, and set up an ambush. When the Bio Raptor Gui's returned to their base, they would be low on Reggel and easy targets for their forces. However, this meant leaving Zuuri undefended for an entire bombing run. Despite the obvious consequences of the plan, they agree to do it.
In preparations of the scouting party, they begin to cover up all the damage. This meant simple making it look like buildings were still in one piece. Walls were painted on, and put on top of ruins, creating the illusion that a building was still there. As they did this, more Anti-Digald forces arrived. They had heard about the assault on Digu. These forces were immediately put to work setting up the plan.
The Digald scouts arrived, only to find no serious damage. A small resistance was put up, to make sure they did not realise the true extent of the damage. When word arrived back to Felme, she thought that the smoke during the previous battle had caused her to over-judge the damage. Realising she had told Jiin that their run was a success, she quickly planned to sortie. However, daylight was limited, and they had to wait until the next day to attack. This left the night for Ruuji to advance to Torafu. He had received information from the new forces, about routs to Torfu that lacked Digald soldiers.
At Dawn, Felme and her troops left. Yet commander Borra decided to send out scouts around Torafu, just in case. As Felme arrived at Zuuri, she was met with no resistance. Her forces quickly began to decimate the town.
It was Dusk before the Gui's returned. When they did, Ron prepared an attack, but the scouts found him. A fierce battle ensued, before Ron was able to unleash three times his normal payload on the Gui battalion. Ruuji and the others quickly began to rush Torafu.
