Mountain Hideout

Mountain Hideout an episode from the anime series Zoids: Genesis based on TOMY's Zoids model franchise.

Overview

This episode introduces Garaga's resistance forces, including Ron. The forces fight against Digald by using guerilla tactics, dropping rocks or logs onto Bio Zoids, rather than relying on conventional weapons. Hearing of the special kong-type Zoid, Zairin moves to the area to lead their attack. Using his Bio Megaraptor, he took two Baratz hostage. Under misinformation, Zairin planned a trap for Garaga. His goal was to use the hostages as bait, and lure the Deadly Kong into an ambush of Bio Raptors.

However, since Ruuji and his comrades were with Garaga, they had the upper hand in numbers. Utilising Kotona's flying Zoid, Ra-Kan and their forces managed to surround Zairin and his forces. With the element of surprise on their hand they were able to quickly defeat him. Zairin managed to escape by causing an avalanche, but not before loosing all his Bio Zoid forces.
