Overview[]
This episode picks up where the last one left off.
Battalia hands over a coffin to Dark Metal's Numb-Lock in exchange for money. While the coffin was supposed to contain Arashi, it's actually empty. Arashi and Analog suffering from the aftereffects of Battalia's turkey the episode prior.
As Battalia hands over the coffin, she engages Dark Metal's forces. She holds her own for a while, but is outnumbered.
Eventually Arashi busts in, and they defeat the Rapterrixs. Only to end up being faced up against Dragz.
Arashi finds that the Liger's claws aren't strong enough to injure the Zoid's heavy armour. He uses his Wild Blast and let's Battalia escape, but even that proves to be ineffective against Dragz.
Battalia returns, and Numb-Lock unleashes his Dark Blast. Dragz beats its chest to super-heat its knuckles.
Eventually it's Battalia's turn to finally use her Wild Blast. By returning to Arashi in face of adversity, Needle finally gives her a Zoid Key. She uses her new power to attack Dragz and sting it, reducing its effectiveness. They try and run but Numb-Lock still follows. Outside, however, Analog snipes Dragz from his location outside town.
The town, a cover for storing Dark Metal explosives, is razed and Numb-Lock is forced to rebuild before he can chase after the Liger.
The trio reunite and Arashi returns Battalia's Freedom badge.
Trivia[]
- In the English dub, many scenes of toilet humour have been removed. In the dub, the Deleters are shown buried underground and told to take off their "Sumo suits". In the Japanese, they instead go to the toilet and come out skinny. The dub acts as though the toilet is instead a change room and plays zipper sound effect over it. Additionally, in the Japanese version when Arashi arrives, he too uses the same toilet. This scene was removed entirely from the dub.
