Overview[]
The group find a wanted poster for Bastion, as he's part of a "Zoid Gang" and is stealing money. It does not have a Dark Metal logo on it.
Nearby people in charge are seen to be racketeering taxes from the locals. Bastion shows up and stops them, but leaves with the money anyway. Despite this the locals praise him for shutting down the crooks. He's operating under the alias "DJ Bandit"
Arashi confronts Bastion in an attempt to get the money back. Bastion offers to throw the fight for some cash. Arashi pleads with Bastion to help out like he did in their first meeting, and not be stingy. (Although he realises in retrospect, that in their first encounter Bastion was just as stingy).
Suddenly Arashi is intercepted by Dark Metal. Perplexingly, as soon as Bastion flees, Dark Metal disengages.
Arashi finds the stolen money conventionally dropped by Bastion, and returns it to the villagers.
It turns out there's a Dark Metal town nearby that Bastion's staying at. The town is flush with money and he sees Bastion busking.
As it stands, Bastion is using the funds to buy medicine for his younger sister. Many people in the town are ill as well, and the price of medicine is high.
The medicine is controlled by Death Metal forces, and specifically one of the not-yet-introduced Four Dark Warriors.
