Overview[]
Following on from the last episode, the team want to try help Bastion get medicine for his sister, Raina. Dark Metal had been controlling supply and charging monopolistic prices for it.
The leader of the ploy was Haxile, one of the Four Dark Warriors. He was in charge of supplying the medicine, and even allowed Bastion to act as DJ Bandit to supply him with income. By letting him roam, and using Deleters to stop him being interfered with, Haxile planned to collect the bounty on Bastion, after also using the money from medicine to collect whatever earnings Bastion made in his endeavours.
Eventually Bastion's had enough. He plans to let Freedom take his sister out of town, and raid the Death Metal warehouse where Haxile, had stored the medicine. He does this without telling Freedom.
Arashi and Batallia realise what's going on with Raina's help. They head back into town to meet up with him, leaving Analog with Rayu.
However, it's a trap. The three of them are ambushed by Haxile and his Bonesaw.
He opens by using his Dark Blast. Battalia and Arashi respond by using their Wild Blasts in return.
During the fight, much of the medicine is destroyed, and Haxile states that the problem isn't an illness, but rather with the air in the town. Bastion doesn't need medicine to treat his sister, he just needs to get her away from the town (which they were doing anyway).
Tryke responds to Bastion and gives him a Zoid Key.
Bastion unleashes his Wild Blast and tackles the Bonesaw, and the three run for it. Haxile follows, but is cut off by a herd of cattle, farmers who had their money taken from the previous episode helped out.
After they are free, Bastion is convinced by his sister to part ways with her and go with team Freedom to chase his dream (and the Ancient Treasure Z). She goes with Greta to a place where the air is clean and Dark Metal aren't a threat.
Arashi finally gives Bastion a Freedom badge, and this time he accepts.
