Going Rogue! is the 39th episode of Zoids: Wild. It first aired in Japan on the 6th of April, 2019.
Overview
Gyoza is sent off with Sanratan suffering severe injuries. Avocado, Garlic and Kuroame are likewise incapacitated.
Seeing the damage from the previous battle, Arashi decides he wants to head into Death Metal Empire to retrieve the three supreme Zoids. His Zoid is the least damaged of the team.
He wants to leave, but he knows if he tells the others, they'll come with him. Not wanting to risk their Zoids, he puts on an act to attempt to deceive them (pretending they are losers and thus not worthy of team Freedom). He leaves alone.
But Apex catches up with him, and challenges Arashi to a fight. He even goes to engage his Wild Blast, knowing the damage to the Wolf is too much to take a Wild Blast. Arashi stops him from engaging the Hunter Wolf, and instead challenges him to a fist fight. Apex knew that if Arashi entered Death Metal alone, he would likely die. Arashi was also aware of this, but had made up his mind anyway.
Penne and Onigiri arrive, and diffuse the situation. Onigiri does his own personal Wild Blast, while Penne slaps sense into Arashi. They return his badge and convince him not to go.
Back at base, Sauce and Candy have information from the resistance. It may be that their best bet is to find the Great Ancient Treasure Z. The treasure may not be riches, but instead a powerful weapon. With limited information, the group optimistically come up with the next step plan to both obtain the treasure, and defeat Death Metal.
Meanwhile in Death Metal, the scientists install Death Blast keys over the hijacked Supreme Zoids.
A post-credit scene shows them amassing a large quantity of Zoids equipped with Death Blasts.
