Powerful Enemy! Death Metal Four Heavenly Kings is the fourth episode of Zoids: Wild. It first aired in Japan on July 28, 2018.

Overview

As Arashi travels, he finds that he runs out of food much too quickly.

But as fate would have it, he comes across some people willing to feed him. Their names are Happy, Lucky and Ooky.

These three turn out to be members of the Death Metal Empire. It also shows that they aren't intrinsically evil, they were just looking for jobs.

However, as time pases this episode introduces Drake one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of the Death Metal empire, pilot of the Gilraptor.

Arashi initially tries to get Drake to join his team ("team stretchy") but Drake promptly refuses.

When Drake realises Arashi has the Wild Liger, Drake and Arashi fight. Drake utilises his Death Blast technique to fight off Arashi's Wild Blast.

But before Drake can defeat Arashi outright, he is recalled to serve Gallager, letting Arashi off the hook.

Trivia

  • "Four Heavenly Kings" is often translated as the "Elite Four", stemming from the Pokemon group of the same name.
  • In the next-time clips, when talking about Penne, the narrator mentions is this girl an 'Angel' or a 'Demon'. This is a common line used in mech anime, dating back to the first Super Robot show Mazinger Z, which asks if Mazinger is a 'God' or a 'Devil'.
