Fox Capture Instruction is the tenth episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on December 13, 2019 on TV Tokyo.

Overview[]

Baan Blood is shown to be serving his time on the run by doing mercenary work defeating Jamminga for townsfolk. The main group notice that he has a wanted poster out for him, but thanks to the Gatling Fox's abilities he's able to elude the Empire without much trouble.

An archaeologist approaches him noting that there's an island nearby where Zoids were being excavated. The passionate researcher wants Baan to defeat Jamminga so that he can excavate a supposed super-large Zoid.

Baan obliges, but is ultimately betrayed as he is handed over to the Empire. However, things don't go according to plan for the researcher. The Empire's heavy-handed tactics in capturing the fox involve destroying the bridge onto the island and shelling it to smoke Baan out. This naturally destroyed all the careful excavation done for research.

Eventually Baan is cornered facing the Stylaser. His Zoid is damaged enough that his optical stealth no longer works, so he's forced to fight the Stylaser head-on. Machine Blast vs Evo Blast proves the difference in power is considerable, the Gatling Fox has no chance.

However, at that moment Leo and Jo appear to rescue the Fox, having seen the explosions during their run as a courier job Buzz had picked up. The trio make their escape. After reaching safety Baan thanks the groups and again heads off on his own.

The final scene teases the excavation site, is shows a glowing extra large Zoid, just as the researcher had predicted.
