TBA is the eleventh episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on December 20, 2019 on TV Tokyo.
Overview[]
The last piece of the Genospino, the legendary Zoid of destruction is found by the Empire in the Aegis Barrier. A group of Kuwagas are sent to retrieve it and transport it back to base.
Chris Giller meets with Collins, who is falling ill. Collins explains to Giller (the soon-to-be pilot of the Genospino) of the importance of the Genospino. They want to use the Zoid to ensure peace, an ideology that Giller agrees with.
However, the transportation process does not go smoothly. The fossilised relics of the Genospino begin to react with the Kuwagas transporting it, and it begins to emit heat. It gets so hot that the contain begins to glow red hot. The Kuwaga pilots do their best to continue the transport, but eventually the heat breaks one of the cables carrying the container and they are forced to ditch their cargo.
Due it to being so hot, as the container hits the ground it instantly starts a forest fire.
Nearby, Jo is contacted by the Republic about the situation. It's a chance for them to intercept the Genospino pieces and prevent the Empire from completing the Zoid. Her and some other Raptorias choose to enter the fire to destroy the parts. Leo agrees to help out, as he doesn't want the Empire to get such a Zoid.
They enter the forest and are faced with tornadoes of fire, but thanks to Leo they are able to navigate this relatively unharmed. Nearby Buzz watches on with residents of the area as they flee the fires. Those people escape due to help from Baan Blood who is also in the area.
After a skirmish with the Empire, Leo's forces are reduced to just him and Jo. However, Baan helps out and flashbangs the Empire long enough for them to make it past and approach the Genospino parts.
It turns out that only Leo and Baan can approach the parts due to the energy. But as they do so, Giller shoots at them from above in the Sniptera. Baan fends off Giller, and Leo attacks the Genospino. Leo's initial charge proves ineffective, even using his Evo Blast. Before he can get another attack, Chris takes out the Gatling Fox (using it's gun signature to defeat the optical stealth) and defends the Genospino. A team of Kuwagas rapidly swoops down and retrieves the Zoid for the Empire.
Finally, back at the Imperial base, Giller talks to Dr Land as they finish building the Genospino. Dr Land again commends Chris on the Zoid he's about to pilot. However, Aldridge appears.
Aldridge tells Chris that Collins is very sick. But also that there are new orders. Chris Giller will not be piloting the Genospino. Instead it will be Aldridge himself.
