TBA is the twelfth episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on December 27, 2019 on TV Tokyo.

Overview[edit | edit source]

With Brigadier General Collins ill and near death, Brigadier General Shigaru takes over for the Empire. It is by his command that Aldridge is given charge of the Genospino, instead of Giller.

The Genospino deploys against the Republic, and proves to be nigh unstoppable. The Republic regroup at a city called Mosaic. Dias and Jo are called upon, but Leo and the others also insist on helping out.

In the city, the group are shown something by Lt Dias. An oasis, where even the 1st generation emigrants from Zi are able to breath without a mask. It's a spot on Earth where the Zi Forming was successful. It was kept top-secret by the Republic, but is revealed to the cast in order to show them the importance of protecting the city. Seeing the Zi Forming be successful brings Sally to tears.

The Republic lead the defence of the city, using many Gannontoise and Grachiosaurus. But their weapons are ineffective against the oversized Genospino.

Dias has a plan, and baits the Genospino into a trap. Dias's Zoid is injured but he successfully lures the Zoid in between their fortifications where Leo and Baan Blood shoot out the walls, causing the Genospino to be buried under the ruins.

However, the plan doesn't work. The Genospino emerges unscathed.

With no options left, Baan and Leo engage their Evo Blasts to attack the Genospino head-on. However, this proves to be futile.

Baan's Zoid is damaged, and as Leo goes in for his most powerful attack, he ends up pinned under the Genospino with no hope of escape. The Genospino begins to shred the Liger, ripping off it's blades and side armour.

Jo jumps in to help, knowing her Raptoria is outgunned, but she's swatted out of the air by the blade-mounted guns on the Genospino.

Finally, the Genospino engages its Machine Blast. The Genocide Crusher.

The massive spinning blades form a saw and loom over Leo, but just as his Zoid is about to be split in two, Dias pushes him out of the way. The Triceradogos is cut in half.

Despite the damage to their Zoids, the cast is still ok. The Empire forces having moved on to their next target; the capital of the Republic, the flying city Neo Helic.
