TBA is the fourteenth episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on January 17, 2020 on TV Tokyo.

OverviewEdit

The group see the Liger return from the box it had been encased in, however it's not as the Beast Liger, indeed it's back in the basic form seen in episode 1. None the less, Leo manages to use it to take on the Drei Panther and save Baan. The Panther retreats as its main goal was related to the regeneration cube, which was now gone.

Leo is able to understand the Liger, and tells the party it wants to get stronger. They spend considerable time scrounging for parts, equipping the liger with Republican munitions and a broken Beast Liger blade. Baan also repairs the Gatling Fox.

In the Republic, they discuss plans on how to stop the Genospino. A large lake exists between them and the Zoid, so they set up a defensive line near a bridge. Their plan was to load the bridge with explosives and stop the Genospino.

Dias calls and informs them of his run-in with Giller and that he has the Sniptera to use.

Back in Mosaic, Frank Land is seen observing the spot where the Regeneration Cube was, lamenting on the work done by Walter Borman.

Finally, the main cast set out in chase of the Genospino. The Zoid had approached the Republic, but was not taking the bridge. Aldrige decided to take the shortest path and go straight through the lake, moving underwater and eschewing his escort battalion in the process.

The Republican forces engage him as he leaves the lake, but prove ineffective. At that moment, Dias shows up piloting the Sniptera. He provokes Aldrige and forces him to use his Machine Blast. The Sniptera's flying advantage means Dias can dodge the attack fairly easily. Aldrige is forced to use blast after blast, each time draining a great deal of stamina.

On the other side of the lake, Leo, Baan and Jo run into the Genospino's escorts. Baan uses stealth and Jo assists to let Leo past. While Leo does get through, he's faced with the silent Drei Panther attacking him from the shadows.

Leo uses the Liger's instincts and catches the Drei Panther as it's about to attack him. Leo intercepts the Panther's Machine Blast with his own Evo Blast. The activation of the Evo blast serves as a catalyst and the Liger undergoes spontaneous change. It discards all the hard-worked on weapons and evolves into the Rising Liger to defeat the Panther.

As the episode concludes, Aldrige is seen in intense distress. He's reluctant to activate the Machine Blast any more, but must to defeat Dias. He does it one last time and it proves too much. Aldrige passes out and the Genospino ceases to move.
