TBA is the nineteenth episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on February 21, 2020 on TV Tokyo.
Overview[]
Sally, Buzz, Leo, and Jo go on search for a Regeneration Cube. They use Sally's pendant to track it to the ocean and are confronted with a fierce storm. The storm is caused by the vortex surrounding the cube and causes immense winds and waves. Sally, Leo and Jo are washed off the ship leaving Buzz alone at the helm with their Zoids.
Sally washes up on a deserted island and is found by a man living there. He had also been caught up in the storm, but thanks to the perpetual wind and lightning has been unable to leave.
Leo and Jo on another beach nearby go in search for Sally. They find her hair band on the shore and figure out she's safe. But before they can venture into the Jungle, they notice several Imperial flying Zoids.
The Empire, also in search of the Regeneration Cube sends Dr Land in with his assistant Hannah Melville. She is flying in a blue Sniptera which has an extra capsule on its back with Dr Land in it. Accompanying them are 2 Kuwagas.
They face the storm, but don't fare much better than the main case. Lightning takes down their Zoids and they crash on the beach near Jo and Leo. All the pilots and Dr Land survive unharmed but their Zoids are blacked out. They head into the jungle on foot in search of the cube.
Elsewhere, Sally talks to the man who's helping her. She explains her pendant and how she can stop the vortex. He laments on his daughter who he's been unable to see because of being trapped on the island. Sally responds by mentioning her own father, a man with a metallic hand.
As they go through the forest two of the soldiers find them. However, Leo and Jo arrive and take down the soldiers. Sally and Leo head on to the cube, while Jo and the other man restrain the soldiers.
They find the cube without problem, but Dr Land is waiting for them. He's there without a mask as the cube's effects allow him to breathe normally. Melville gets the jump on Sally and tries to use her taser on Leo. Leo's metal arm protects him as it has done before. In a brief struggle Melville is knocked out.
Leo tries to use his multi-tool to attack Dr Land, but the scientist effortlessly blocks it with one hand, even overpowering Leo's full strength. While Dr Land mentions he's interested in Leo as a sample, it's overall not important, as Dr Land begins to use his arm to activate the Regeneration Cube.
One side of the Cube lights up before Sally can turn on her pendant and make the cube activate as they had originally planned. Dr Land mentions the name of Sally's mother. The main cast make their escape and flee to Buzz, who's now free of the storm. They fight the blue Snipetera and win before leaving on Buzz's boat, taking the isolated man with them.
