OverviewEdit

Sally is taken away by the Imperial Army.

Baan and Leo take after her, but find themselves duped by a decoy. Jo offers to call in the Kuwaganos, but considering Sally was taken by the Empire that could strain relations. Instead they use Dias to ring up Giller and ask for a favour. He is still on good terms with them from the time with the Genospino.

Luc takes Sally to a base where he asks for the Pendant, she tosses away a pocket watch as a decoy before trying to dispose of the real pendant, but Luc stops her and takes the pendant.

As a bit of time passes, Leo catches up with Luc's convoy. An intense battle breaks out between the three Cannon Bulls and Leo. Before a conclusion can be reached, Giller arrives and stops the fighting. He tells Luc to stand down and hand over Sally. Giller also reveals he had been promoted, giving him the authority to make these demands.

Despite the increased rank, Luc still refuses. He promptly reveals why, it turns out Sally wasn't with him any more. He had offloaded her at the previous base and wasn't transporting her any more. He tells Giller that Dr Land was the one taking charge of Sally. Giller goes off to investigate Dr Land's research institute.

Back with the main party, Baan explains what he had found on his previous trip the island. He tells them about the new large Zoid on-par with the Genospino.

At this time, Giller checks out Dr Land's facility but finds it deserted. He sees the photo of Sally that Dr Land had been keeping on his desk. As Giller leaves he gets intel from the Empire telling him that Dr Land had relocated to an island base.

This is indeed where Dr Land now was, and where Sally had been taken by Hannah Melville.

Dr Land meets with Sally in a cell, and tells her about his plans. He explains how the pendant will be used to power up the Omega Rex and provide it with infinite energy for its Charged Particle Cannon. He also reveals that his arm is metal, just like Leo. He had been transformed while on Zi doing research.

Finally, he reveals that he had awakened from deep sleep long before Sally, and that he is indeed Sally's father.

Outside, Giller tries to make his way in but is stone-walled until Dr Land allows him in. Giller is shown the Omega Rex, the Charge Particle Cannon, and one other man: Shigaru.
