TBA is the twenty-sixth episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on April 10, 2020 on TV Tokyo.
Overview[]
The Omega Rex has made its escape. As the Empire and the Republic collaborate over this new threat, they send Leo and Luc after Aldridge as he's currently their only lead.
They locate Aldridge, but before they can capture him the Drei Panther shows up and they both escape. Luc momentarily saves Leo but his Cannon Bull is damaged in the process.
Empty-handed Leo and Luc return to the conference with their report. Here they see a portion of the meeting discussing potential ways to deal with the Omega Rex. Sherry from the Republic poses one idea: the Genospino. Despite the damage to the Zoid Core, she states it's the only hope of combating the Omega Rex. Although even with this extreme plan, she says that it will only be posited as an idea if the pilot can be Republican. She notes the damage done after having the Empire pilot the Zoid.
Leo and Luc leave the meeting, and Luc returns Sally's pocket watch from before.
Elsewhere, a test run of a new Zoid starts. The Sonic Bird. As the test concludes, the pilot feigns radio interference to spend some more time flying the new supersonic Zoid.
Leo goes to where the Genospino had fallen. But he's interrupted by a sudden attack consisting of Empire Zoids. He sorties to defend against them but their forces are numerous. However, the previously mentioned Sonic Bird shows up and helps clear the attacking forces. The pilot reveals himself to be none other than Jake from episodes previously.
While all this is happening, Dr Land is hurriedly completing the Omega Rex. Shigaru notes the urgency and that their lives may be at risk if the Zoid isn't completed. Dr Land knows this, but is struggling with his body. He ends up collapsing while researching on the pendant.
At the end of the episode, Dr Land wakes to find himself completely changed. His body is mysteriously restored to his youthful state.
