TBA is the thirty-sixth episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on July 10, 2020 on TV Tokyo.
Overview
The episode starts with Hannah Melville telling the main cast about the events that have transpired up till now from her perspective. Not just the recent attack form the Jamminga, but also the details about Frank Land's age reversal and his disappearance along with the pendant while the Omega Rex returned.
Jo calls the military and they take her to get treated. To avoid complications with the Empire they take her to a Republican base.
They detail out their next steps, Borman has found a Vortex for them to investigate, while the military is obviously interested in Hannah's information about the True Empire.
This all turns out to be short-lived as Jamminga begin to attack the base. Events transpire exactly as happened in the True Empire. As the Republic sorties a few Raptoria, more Jamminga appear from underground in the middle of the base and attempt to capture Hannah.
Leo arrives and rescues her, but for a brief moment the Jamminga seem to cease their attack when Hannah wills it.
The front set up by the Republic quickly starts to fall to pieces. The Raptoria pilots get taken over just like had happened to the True Empire previously. When backup Gannontoise are sent, these too also get converted.
Hannah makes it to the base's leader and tells him to stop using the pilot suits. He reluctantly agrees and tells his remaining forces to sortie without them. Leo offers to also help, but the commander reminds him of his mission. Leo agrees to take Hannah and the others and escape leaving the military to defend their position.
The leader sorties in a Catalga and tows a trailer with explosives to clear a path for Leo and the others. The make their escape as additional Republican forces come online to gain control of the situation.
Later, the group begin to track down their actual mission. Finding the Vortex identified previously.
They travel to the spot only to find nothing there but a massive hole in the ground. A shadow passes over them and they see the effects of the Vortex. The entire land mass where the Vortex was located is now floating in the sky.
With no way to get there on foot, they call Jake and transport Leo, Jo, Sally and Hannah up to the floating island. Leaving Buzz with the Zoids.
On the island, they quickly find the Regeneration Cube. They also find Jamminga and Frank Land right next to it.
He uses the Jamminga to keep the cast at bay while he goes to awaken the cube. Hannah pleads him to stop and again a Jammina listens to her will, temporarily stopping Frank Land. Leo uses this moment to try and reach the cube, but is stopped by Land himself. As the two make contact Leo is given a vision of a person fused to a cube, much like how Land was.
Much to the disdain of the cast, Land manages to activate the cube and the island starts to fall. Leo uses his multi-tool to latch onto Land's Kill Scythe, while the others escape with Jake and the Buzz's car.
Leo hits one of the Kill Scythe's wings and it's forced to ground. Jake comes in to save Leo.
But all is for nought as the Zero Phantoth appears to save Frank Land. Jake fights the Zoid, using his Wild Blast to damage its top. But he loses a blade of his Sonic Bird in the process.
The group are forced to retreat without Land, the Regeneration Cube, or the Zero Phantoth.
