TBA is the thirty-seventh episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on July 17, 2020 on TV Tokyo.
Overview[]
Melville advises the protagonists of the location of the True Empire and the Omega Rex. Many inside the Empire and Republic don't trust her, so she's assigned to Leo's group.
The Republic and Empire begin to mass an assault force against the True Empire, but are hampered by their inability to use the pilot suits.
Borman advises the main group about the purple light, and how it differs from what they are trying to achieve with the Regeneration Cubes, marked by the orange light primarily from Leo's body. They get information about a Vortex from Luc and head off in search of it to activate the cube.
Heading off against the True Empire, Dias and Giller sortie. Along with them are Scorpear and Dimepulsars. Shigaru is advised by the Jamminga to leave it to them. A dense fog rolls in and the Republic/Empire forces find themselves unable to communicate even with the Dimepulsar support. Crazed forces from the True Empire attack, using the purple light to their advantage.
Spiegel and Aldridge face off against Giller and Dias using their Hunter Wolf and Fang Tiger. Unlike the other True Empire forces, they aren't controlled by the purple light and therefore aren't using their pilot suites either.
Elsewhere, the attacking forces find their bases suddenly hit by a swarm of Zero Phantoth. As the battle degrades, suddenly the fog lifts and the True Empire retreats. The Omega Rex is gone, they had bought enough time to evacuate the base.
Up north Leo and the others meet up with Luc and head underground in a frozen city to find the Regeneration Cube. Luc holds resentment to Melville for betraying the Empire. The group find the cube but are also met with a group of Jamminga.
Melville is unfazed and orders the Jamminga to leave. The group is surprised when the Jamminga obey her commands. Once outside the Jamminga are dispatched by Luc's Cannon Bull escorts. The group activate the Cube otherwise uneventfully.
Finally, at the end of the episode Dr Land is shown piloting a Gilraptor towards a location pointed out by the pendant. He has repeated visions of the female attached to the cube.
