Overview[]

The destruction of the Earth accelerates as predicted, but thankfully Dr Borman's research begins to pay off. He's able to reconstruct the location of the Regeneration Cubes as they arrived, meaning they now have a map of where each cube is located.

Borman heads off with the Sonic Bird and Sniptera to join with Luc at the location of one of these cubes. Leo and the others head to another location.

As Borman proceeds to their target they fly over Baan Blood. He's engaged with a Zero Phantoth. The large Zoid is able to put up a significant fight against the Gatling Fox. Ultimately Baan uses his stealth to get the jump on the Zero Phantoth and defeat it. He then proceeds to follow the flying Zoids.

Borman successfully actives the cube, and heads on to the next target. Leo's team likewise succeeds but they have to fight their way through a group of Jamminga to do so.

As they leave, Leo's group notices a bunch of Jamminga are already destroyed. Curiously, Leo recognises the area. It matches a diagram from Joshua Conrad's research. They head inside and find a huge hole. It looks like the ones left by a Regeneration Cube, but there's metal thorns lying around the hole.

Back with Borman, he arrives at the second site, but is abducted by a mass of metal vines. Here he comes face-to-face with Dr Land.

Borman pleads with Land to help save the Earth. Land refuses, he says Borman's fears of destruction are unwarranted. Zoids will survive the oncoming apocalypse and Land wants to create a world inhabited by Zoids. Of course, humans will be destroyed by this, but he's not worried since he and Electora will be able to see it through.

Land tells Borman the name of the Super-Large prehistoric Zoid: the Zero Grizis

But Baan arrives to save Borman by busting through the sheath of metal vines. Dr Land escapes.

Land activates the Zero Grizis, the super powerful Zoid is unfazed by the small attack force combating it. It swiftly defeats them with one attack.

As this goes on, Leo's group comes into contact with the metal vines. Leo has a vision of his father being abducted by the vines. As he comes to his senses, he starts to hack away at nearby vines. There they find his father: Joshua Conrad, encased in metal.
