Super Heavy Chariot! Cannon Bull is the eighth episode of the Zoids: Wild ZERO anime series, based on TOMY's Zoids franchise. It first aired in Japan on November 29, 2019 on TV Tokyo.
Overview[]
The episode starts with the group fleeing Luc and a group of three Cannon Bulls.
As they approach a sandstorm, Leo diverts the Empire and allows Sally, Buzz and Jo to escape.
Buzz and the others soon find themselves breaching the sandstorm and land into a pristine remnant city.
Despite being over a hundred years old, the city is completely intact. More perplexingly, flowers and fruit are still alive and even supplied with water. Buzz takes advantage of the situation to don himself with fancy clothes and cars from an era he had never seen before.
However, there are no people and Jammingas still exist.
Eventually Leo catches up with the group and arrives to combat the Jamminga.
He makes an observation that the city might exist in a time vortex. A strange phenomenon that his father was researching.
He and Sally proceed underground to investigate the vortex, while Buzz remains on the surface with Jo on the lookout for Jamminga.
Leo and Sally find underground a portion of the Zi-Forming device. It responds both to Leo's body and Sally's pendant. They activate it, and it drills deep underground.
But when they return, Jo and Buzz are not around. They had been ambushed by the Empire and captured. Leo is asked to hand over Sally.
However, things go astray for the empire as Buzz's clothes start to disintegrate. With the Zi-Forming device now active, the time vortex was no longer in effect.
The century-old city and its content began to catch up to their real age, disintegrating before their very eyes.
A portion of a building holding a water tower falls onto Luc's Cannon Bull and allows the protagonists to board their Zoids and fight back.
Jo engages her Evo Blast and uses the confusion to help Leo defeat two of the Cannon Bulls. Leo fights against Luc and manages to defeat him.
Eventually the group defeat the Empire and make their escape.
