Zoids Customise Parts (also referred to as Customise Parts or CPs or Customize Parts) were a line of model kits released by TOMY as a part of the Zoids line.

The line consisted of additional weapons systems and equipment that could be added to existing Zoids. The line was composed of a mixture of new models and re-releases of parts from older models and upgrade kits. The Customise Parts line was heavily based off of the Zoids Remodeling Sets during the OJR line.

The Customise Parts line was launched in 2000. It was discontinued in 2002, to make way for the Blox line. However, the line was briefly re-introduced during the Blox line to create the Limited Blox Parts sub-line. (detailed below)

CP-01 Beam Cannon Set

DesertLigerwithCP01

Desert Liger with CP-01

The CP-01 set consists of a pair of heavy beam cannons and a power pack for the Shield Liger. These powerful cannons greatly enhanced the Zoid's firepower. Mounted on the sides of the Zoid, they displaced the standard missile pods which were, in turn, moved onto the Zoid's back.

The CP-01 kit consists of a single frame, as well as two coiled spring tubes and two rubber caps. The kit is moulded in silver. The entire kit had originally been released during the 1980s as a part of the New Republic Customise Set. It was also issued in gold as a part of the Shield Liger Mk II model.

It was later re-issued in silver as a part of the Shield Liger DCS-J model, and in gold again with the TDP Shield Liger Mk II. The parts frame and caps were issued with all releases of the Madthunder. The kit was also re-issued as a convention exclusive in a darker gray.

The cannons are mounted on the Zoid's side, replacing the missile launchers. A folding mechanism kept the cannons level when the mountings were moved from the stowed to deployed positions.

The Beam Cannon set was seen again on the HMM Shield Liger MK II in pale yellow.

CP-02 Assault Unit

Sabrecp2

Sabre Tiger with CP-02

Often referred to as the Flight Pack, this unit consists of a flight unit, stabilizers and a missile launcher. Used by the Zaber Fang, this unit allowed the Zoid to fly for short periods of time and jump higher. It increased the Zaber Fang's firepower by allowing it to fire various types of missiles at its enemies.

The CP-02 kit consists of a single frame, as well as two coiled spring tubes. The kit is moulded in silver. The entire kit had originally been released during the 1980s as a part of the New Empire Customise Set. It had also been issued in silver as a part of the Great Sabre model. It was later re-issued in gunmetal as a part of the Limited Saber Tiger SCV model, and in silver again with the TDP Greatsabre. The kit was also re-issued as a convention exclusive in a darker grey.

Because the Sabre Tiger shares parts with Shield Liger, the CP-02 can be used with the Shield Liger. However, this is not advertised.

CP-02 was also released the HMM Great Saber in lavender and dark grey. It was seen on HMM Lightning Saix's box art mounted by a normal Saber Tiger. A second Kotobukiya release of the assault unit is planned with the gold Saber Tiger, this time in charcoal.

Anime

The CP-02 would be featured in Zoids: Chaotic Century, notably in episode 31, where the "Three Guards" would use Zaber Fangs equipped with Assault Units (referred to as Zaber Fang ATs) to great effect against their various enemies (such as Van and certain factions of the Imperial Army).

CP-03 Beam Gatling

DarkHorn

NAR Dark Horn with CP-03

Based on the Hybrid Vulcan Cannon used by the Dark Horn, the CP-03 Beam Gatling Cannon is designed for use by the Red Horn. While not as powerful as the older weapon, the Beam Gatling brought the Red Horn's overall firepower close to the Dark Horn's level.

The CP-03 kit consists of a single frame, as well a coiled spring tube. The kit is moulded in dull grey. The entire kit had originally been released during the 1980s part of the Dark Horn model. It was then re-issued in silver with the pre-release Dark Horn, in dull grey as a part of the NJR Limited Dark Horn, and again in silver as a part of the TDP Limited Dark Horn. It was also released in a darker gray as a convention exclusive.

The beam gatling was Redesigned and packaged with the HMM Saber Tiger Schwartz and HMM Dark Horn in silver-grey.

The CP-03 was also re-released with the release of the Iron Kong Schwartz Custom, along with the CP-A1.

Anime

Besides being used by the Red Horn and Dark Horn, the CP-03 has featured considerably in the Zoids anime, often mounted on custom Zoids. Most of these configurations cannot be achieved with the models without considerable customisation.

  • Karl Schubaltz's Iron Kong in Zoids: Chaotic Century used the CP-03 in place of the standard shoulder cannon. This configuration was also seen on the Iron Kongs in Zoids: Fuzors.
  • Schubaltz also used a customised Zaber Fang that was equipped with a CP-03 cannon.
  • McMann used Dark Horns equipped with a pair of "Special Edition Gatling Rifles". They are similar in appearance to the CP-03, except coloured gold, with ammo belts feeding into the upper shoulders of the 'Horn. Harry Champ's Dark Horn was based upon this variant, as were all the Dark Horns in Fuzors.
  • Leena Toros' customised Gun Sniper in Zoids: New Century mounted a pair of CP-03 units, amongst other parts. This configuration was also seen in Fuzors.

CP-04 Attack Unit

Commandwolfac

Command Wolf with CP-04

The CP-04 was created by the Helic Republic to bolster the firepower of its smaller Zoids. The unit consists of a pair of 250mm beam cannons (identified as 50mm in the anime), as well as a stabilizer unit and boosters to offset the weapon's considerable weight (about 20 tons). The CP-04 is used by the following Zoids:

  • Command Wolf (replaces regular weapons turret)
  • Barigator (replaces quad SSM launcher)
  • Cannon Tortoise (replaces composite sensor mast)
  • Stealth Viper (stabilizers usually replace heavy machine cannons, which in turn are placed on the sides of the CP-04 250 mm beam cannon turret)

It may also be used unofficially with Black Rhimos, Helcat, Shadow Fox and Sabre Tiger as they have similar weapon mountings.

The CP-04 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in dull grey. The first entirely new part of the CP line, the kit was later re-issued as a part of the Command Wolf AC model, and again with the Fuzors Command Wolf AC. It was also re-issued in light grey on its own. The kit was additionaly released in chrome gold as well as chrome silver on its own by TOMY in limited numbers.

CP-04 made its Kotobukiya release with Command Wolf AC with several blue parts. The attack unit is planned to be released with Brad's Command Wolf.

Anime

CP-04 armed Command Wolves are a common sight in the Zoids: Guardian Force anime, as Republican infantry Zoids. In Zoids: New Century and Zoids: Fuzors, the Command Wolves piloted by Brad and Helmut are AC variants (although Brad's starts out as an Irvine variant).

CP-05 Large-Bore Beam Cannon

CannonTortoiseBC

Cannon Tortoise with CP-05

The CP-05 is a heavy beam cannon designed to supplement the long-range firepower of some smaller Zoids. While the cannon provides a tremendous offensive punch, the great weight of the weapon impairs the mobility of the carrying Zoid. It also includes a long-range targeting system and was seen through out the series.

The CP-05 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-05 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in dull green. It was also re-issued in dull grey.

The Large Bore Beam Cannon was released with Kotobukiya's own Buster Tortoise.

Anime

The CP-05 Large-Bore Beam Cannon appears in Zoids: New Century. It is equipped to one of the by the Cannon Tortoise's owned by the Champ Team. The cannon makes a important appearnce in Episode 5, where the Champ Team fought the Blitz Team with the help of Jack Cisco and his Lightning Saix.

Harry and Benjamin were given the job of providing cover fire to the charging Lightning Saix by firing their massive cannons from a long-range position. In the end, however, they were defeated by Bit, who transformed his Liger Zero to the Liger Zero Jager. It also appears in minor fire-support roles in Zoids: Chaotic Century and Zoids: Guardian Force.

CP-06 Bomber Unit

D2000026001

Pteras with CP-06 Bomber Unit

The CP-06 unit is composed of a quartet of all-purpose missile launchers designed for use on various Zoids. In addition, it includes its own targeting systems. The CP-06 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-06 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in dull blue. It was also re-issued in dull red; the colouration being a close match to the OER Zark (a Pteras variant)

Anime

The bomber unit would be seen on several Pteras Zoids in the first three Zoids series. While the first two would place them in minor roles, Zoids: New Century would see a main character pilot one, as it was Jamie Hemeros' Zoid for the majority of the series. It would not be a very effective Zoid (though it was not used in battle very often) and would later be replaced by the Raynos (much to Jamie's horror).

CP-07 Cannonry Unit

HeldigunnerCP07

Heldigunner with CP-07 Cannonry Unit

Molga with CP

Molga with CP-07 as shown in Guardian Force

The CP-07 consists of a single 120 mm artillery cannon with a large blast. The weapon can be used for both direct and indirect fire and packs a considerable punch. The CP-07 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-07 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in flat black. It was also re-issued in silver with the Rokurou Molga model, in silver on its own, and in dull silver with the Genesis Cannonry Molga. The weapon can also be mounted on Giant ZRK's back or Gordosaur's tail as the width at the point where the gunner pilot sits is the same width as a Molga's mid section.

Kotobukiya also released CP-07 in lavender with its first HMM Molga, specifically the HMM Genesis Cannonry Molga.

Anime

The most notable use of the cannonry unit would be in Zoids: Genesis, as it was present on the Molgas piloted by Muteki-Dan. It would be seen on many other Molgas as well, although these would be largely ineffective against Digald's Bio Zoids. Due to it being present on Muteki-Dan's Zoids, the CP-07 would appear in Super Robot Wars: K. Any other Zoids seen with this CP mostly appeared in CC and GF.

CP-08 Pile Bunker

D2000028004

CP-08 Pile Bunker

A large weapon, the CP-08 consists of a pile driver that can be used in two different ways; the first as a regular spear, the second by firing off the pile driver to increase its penetration. The CP-08 is used by the following Zoids:

Raptorcp08

Rev Raptor model equipped with CP-08.

The CP-08 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in dull grey. It was also re-issued in chrome gold with the Rev Rapter Night Patrol model, in grey with the Raven Raptor, in brown on its own, and in gold as a limited edition with some releases of the Hayate Liger.

The model can be mounted on the Rev Rapter individually, or as a pair. On the Iguan, it overbalances the Zoid and impairs the model's ability to walk.

A weapon similar in style to the CP-08 is included with the Liger Zero X action figure.

The Pile Bunker was the only Customise Part to appear in Zoids Assault.

CP-09 Booster Cannon

RedlerCP09

Redler with CP-09 Booster Cannons

Redler with CP

A Redler with the CP-09 as shown in Guardian Force

The CP-09 is a dual-purpose weapons system. It consists of a pair of 100 mm Beam Cannons, each with a small ion booster mounted on its back. This improves the Zoid's acceleration as well as its maximum speed. The weapon is considered to be standard issue to Redlers which otherwise lack ranged weapons. The CP-09 is used by the following Zoids:

Saicurtishelcatcp09

Saicurtis and Helcat models equipped with the CP-09.

IMG 4456

Limited edition Blue CP-09 kit.

The CP-09 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in metallic grey. It was also re-issued, in Asia only with very limited production, in a navy-azure blue.

The Booster Cannons appear to limit the length of the wing-blade that the Redler can cut with. This same problem is shared with the Blade Liger's CP-12 Attack Booster Unit (see the CP-12 section for details).

CP-10 Gojulas Cannons

Originally developed for the Gojulas Mk II during the Central Continent War, the CP-10 system (also known as the Republic Supercannons) have been a part of the Gojulas' arsenal for decades. The system consists of a pair of 360 mm long-range cannons, as well as a four-barreled Impact Cannon. The Supercannons were initially developed as an upgrade for the Gojulas, providing both considerable range and stopping power. The range and firepower of the Supercannons was powerful enough to seriously damage the Iron Kong with a single shot, and had the advantage of out-ranging all of the Imperial Zoid’s weapons.

Repcus set

Republic Customise Set

The CP-10 kit consists of a single frame, as well as four rubber caps. The kit is moulded in dull dark blue. Not all versions of the Gojulas can mount the cannons; both the OJR and OER versions lack the adaptors to connect them to it, as does the Robostrux Terox. The CP-10 kit has been issued more than any other CP kit. The Republic Customise Set included parts to mount the Supercannons on a Dibison, Ultrasaurus, Mammoth, and Salamander.

Dibisoncp10

Dibison model equipped with CP-10.

The kit was originally issued in grey as a part of the Republic Customise Set (which also came with missile pods, stabilizers, and special battery covers so the Supercannons could be mounted on the Gojulas) and then reissued with the New Republic Customise Set. The kit was also issued in white with the Gojulas Mk II Mass Production and then reissued with the TDP Gojulas Mk II, in black with the Gojulas Mk II limited, Gojulas the Ogre and Salamander Bombvern, in light blue with Cannonner Gordos and in black with the Gojulas Mariner. It can also be mounted on Gojulas Giga, instead of the buster cannons, using the special pegs that comes with the kit.

Anime

In the various anime series the Gojulas is always equipped with the CP-10 instead of its standard shoulder cannons. In addition, Sebastian from Zoids: New Century sports a smaller version of the CP-10 on his Heldigunner.

CP-11 Maneuver Thrusters

D2000033005

CP-11 Maneuver Thrusters

IronKongPK03

Iron Kong PK

The CP-11 was developed by the Zenebas Empire, in response to the Republic's Supercannons. The thrusters not only enabled the Iron Kong to make long range leaps and jumps, it also allowed it to suddenly shift its position; allowing the Iron Kong to evade the long-range firepower of the Gojulas, then rapidly close for the kill. The upgrade included a specialized targeting system, which improved the performance of the Iron Kong's missiles, making them more accurate and able to acquire targets on the move.

The CP-11 kit consists of three frames, a large backpack, and four rubber caps. The kit is moulded in bronze and clear green. The pack has space for a single pilot figure, but none is included.

The kit was first issued in grey as part of the Empire Customise Set and then reissued with the New Empire Customise Set. It was also issued in charcoal with the Iron Kong Mk II and then reissued with the TDP Iron Kong Mk II, in silver with the Iron Kong Mk II Limited and white with the Iron Kong Yeti. Two of the frames were also issued in dull grey with the NAR Iron Kong.

Due to the moulding changes made to the NAR Iron Kong, the CP-11 cannot normally be mounted on the Zoid. This can be overcome by shaving off a pair of tabs on the inside of the CP-11's body.

Anime

In Zoids: Guardian Force, Karl Schubaltz swapped the CP-03 of his Iron Kong for the CP-11 Maneuver Thrusters, along with the Beam Cannon and various other weapons of the MK II variant.

In Zoids: New Century, Harry Champ's team would pilot Iron Kongs with these boosters attached.

CP-12 Attack Booster

The CP-12 was developed for the Blade Liger in response to the Geno Breaker. The system consists of a pair of boosters mounted at the base of the Zoid's Laser Blades that provide it

Blade Liger with CP-12

A Blade Liger with CP-12 and "Thunder Blitz" stickers.

with extra speed and acceleration. The system can also be converted to act as a pair of high-powered Beam Cannons.

The CP-12 kit consists of a single frame and a pair of rubber caps. The kit is moulded in dull grey, with sections of it painted blue. The kit was re-released with the Blade Liger Mirage Infinity, and also re-issued with black paint in place of the blue with the Blade Liger Mirage.

The entire frame was supposed to be re-issued with the Green Horn in a matching colour scheme, but was discontinued before the Green Horn was released. The webcomic and promotional advertising all show the Green Horn with the CP-12 attached.

There have been three HMM colors of the Attack Boosters; red, royal blue and black, released with Blade Liger Leon, Blade Liger Ban and Blade Liger Mirage respectively.

Anime

The CP-12 is a major upgrade performed on Van's Blade Liger during Zoids: Guardian Force, with an entire episode dedicated to the testing and installation of this upgrade.

Games

In the Zoids Saga series, adding on the Attack Boosters to a Blade Liger and making it an AB variant impairs the use of the Laser Blades, with the game giving the Blade Liger AB Laser Fangs to compensate for the loss of the blades' use. This is not replicated in the anime or High-end Master Model versions of the Zoid.

CP-13 Wild Weasel Unit

Gunsnipermine

Gun Sniper with Wild Weasel

The Wild Weasel unit was designed to enhance the firepower and capabilities of the Helic Republic's main infantry Zoids. The unit consists of a powerful radar unit, as well as two pods, each mounting two pairs of heavy beam cannons. The result is a Zoid that is significantly more powerful with no loss of capabilities. The CP-13 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-13 kit consists of a single frame and four rubber caps. The kit is moulded in dull grey with orange caps.

When mounted on the Godos, the CP-13 overbalances the model and substantially hampers its ability to walk.

Note that the weapons mounted onto Leena Toros' Gun Sniper are NOT a CP-13. They do include a CP-13 as the base, but also include several weapons not present in this custom part (such as missile pods and Gatling cannons).

CP-14 Viking Lance

Cp14

CP-14 Viking Lance

The Viking Lance consists of a heavy-duty, super-hardened alloy lance designed to pierce and impale enemy Zoids. Originally designed for use underwater, the lance is effective on land. The CP-14 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-14 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in bronze, and has never been reissued.

CP-15 Assault Gatling Unit

CP-15

CP-15 Assult Gattling

The Assault Gattling unit is a multi-purpose unit designed to increase a Zoid's tactical flexibility. The unit consists of a pair of weapons; a 16-shot multifunction missile launcher and a 6-barrelled 35 mm Beam Gattling Cannon. The two weapons are capable of independent elevation, as well as rotation when mounted on an Elephander. Additionally, the weapon is equipped with a laser targeting system to enhance its accuracy. The CP-15 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-15 kit consists of two frames and two rubber caps. The kit is moulded in bronze and light grey. The kit has never been reissued.

While not advertised, the kit can also be used on the Shield Liger. Additionally, it has a pair of ports to allow the mounting of the CP-01 at the same time. It may also be mounted on the Helcat, but like the Sinker, it may only mount the Gatling, which replaces the Zoid's cannon mounted on its back.

Anime

Stigma Stoller's Elephander is outfitted with the Assault Gatling unit during his final match with Bit Cloud. It never uses the Gatling, and the missile launchers prove ineffective against the Liger Zero's Panzer CAS.

CP-16 Zoid Controller

D2001004002

CP-16 Zoid Controller

Unique amongst the Customise Parts line, the CP-16 is not meant to represent an "in world" upgrade. Rather, it is an accessory for the model line. The unit consists of a remote control with cord that plugs into the back of certain Zoids equipped with a battery pack.

  • On the Lightning Saix, the Zoid walks forward under remote control. It can also remotely switch between its two running speeds.
  • On the Berserk Führer, the Zoid also walks forwards, and can be switched between its two modes. While not advertised as such, the controller could be used with the Gairyuki with the same results due to the shared parts between them.
  • On the Death Stinger, the controller can make the Zoid walk both forwards and backwards, as well as turn side to side.

The CP-16 was released in Japan in 2000, and was discontinued in 2001. The upgrade kit was also released in the NAR; boxed with a recoloured version of the Lightning Saix as a Toys "R" Us exclusive.

CP-17 Schneider Unit

Main article: Liger Zero Schneider
Lz su

Actual CP-17 on a Liger Zero

The first CAS Unit for the Liger Zero, the CP-17 Schneider Unit is designed for close combat. In the Zero anime, it seemed to sport higher attack power than the Jaeger or Zero units, although it had freezing problems the first time it was used. The unit features seven energy blades mounted on the Liger Zero's head and sides (five around the head, one on each flank) which can be used to cut through enemy Zoid armor and energy shields. Additionally, the Zero Schneider features improved speed and acceleration through the use of a series of powerful boosters.

The CP-17 kit consists of three frames, as well as two small caps. The kit is moulded in orange, gray and light blue; with additional painted details. The model was released in 2000, with production continuing until about 2002.

CP-18 Impact Cannon

D2001012001

CP-18 Impact Cannon on a Spinosapper

The CP-18 system consists of a quartet of 108 mm Impact Cannons linked to a sophisticated long-range targeting system. The system is mounted on a rotating base, and all four cannons elevate independently. The CP-18 is used by the following Zoids:

  • Spino Sapper (replaces Chainsaws)
  • Raynos (replaces 3D Radar, though the 3D Radar can be mounted on the belly mounting)

The CP-18 kit consists of a single frame. The kit is moulded in light grey. It has never been reissued.

CP-19 Bind Container

CP-19

CP-19 Packaging

An unusual system, the CP-19 is a cargo storage box. Additionally, it is equipped with a variety of tools and equipment to support Zoids in the field. The CP-19 is used solely by the Zabat, in both manned and unmanned versions.

The CP-19 kit consists of a two frames and a single small blue pilot figure. One of the parts is a re-mould of the wind-up motor key from the Rev Rapter. The kit is moulded in white and dull grey. It has never been reissued.

CP-20 Jager Unit

Main article: Liger Zero Jager
Lz ju

Actual CP-21 on a Liger Zero

The second Liger Zero CAS Unit, the CP-20 Jager Unit is designed for reconnaissance and high-speed strike operations. The Jager unit's main features are a pair of large boosters mounted on the Zoid's back, which provide the Zoid with incredible speed and acceleration while improving the Zoid's agility. All up, the Zero Jager has the best maneuverability of any ground-based Zoid, and has amongst the best acceleration.

The CP-20 kit consists of eight frames. Two of these frames are shared with the CP-21 kit. The kit is moulded in dull blue, light blue and light gray, with some painted details.

CP-21 Panzer Unit

Main article: Liger Zero Panzer
Lz pu

Actual CP-21 on a Liger Zero

The third Liger Zero CAS Unit, the CP-21 'Panzer Unit' is designed for heavy assault and long-range bombardment. The armor reduces the Zoid's speed and agility, while increasing its overall level of protection and drastically increasing its firepower. The unit sports two heavy cannons in addition to numerous concealed missile launchers, allowing for it to engage both land and air targets. The CP-21 kit consists of seven frames. Two of the frames are common with the CP-20 model kit. The kit is moulded in dull green and gray; additionally, it has some painted details.

CP-22 Dual Sniper Rifle

D2001033008

CP-22 Dual Sniper Rifle

As the König Wolf lacked any integral ranged weapons, the Helic Republic developed a pair of extra weapon systems for the Zoid. Despite its name and its initial box data describing it as a powerful sniping weapon superior to the Gun Sniper's tail rifle, the CP-22 Dual Sniper Rifle is not always shown as such in Zoids media; most common is the depiction of it as a rapid-fire autocannon, albeit a long-ranged one. The weapon is considered to be vital to the König Wolf, and can be tied into its sensor goggles for targeting. In the Zoids VS series the Dual Sniper Rifle S boasted a range of 3000 meters with a power ranking of 467. The weapon matched the range of both the tail rifle of the Snipe Master and the sniper rifle of the Double Arm Lizards but the power ranking was far behind the 654 these newer weapons concealed. Even the Proto Saber's rifle at 620 outranked the Dual Sniper Rifle.

Koenig with DSR

König Wolf equipped with the DSR

The CP-22 kit consists of two frames, two gears and a pair of rubber caps. The kit is moulded in dull grey. The weapon has a unique action; when a tab on the back is pushed, a pair of ammunition drums rotate. The CP-22 was re-issued with different caps as a part of the Heavy Arms König Wolf model, and with one of the frames recoloured in bronze for the König Wolf Mk II.

The CP-22 was released in 2001 and discontinued after a short run. As a result, the kit will often fetch outrageous prices at collectables auctions, typically going for five to ten times its original price.

Anime

The CP-22 was seen in the Zoids: Fuzors and Zoids: Genesis anime series. In the former it was equipped to a Konig Wolf piloted by Amy, a member of Mach Storm. In this series, the CP-22 would be used primarily as a rapid-fire cannon. In Genesis, Danbul would pilot a Konig Wolf of the same design as the one used by Amy in the previous series. It would therefore be equipped with a CP-22. Danbul did use this weapon for sniping, as its name would imply, though it would not be particularly effective against Diglad's Bio Zoids until it is loaded with Metal Zi bullets.

CP-23 5-Shot Missile Pod

D2001034008

CP-22 5-Shot Missike Pod

To further supplement the König Wolf's fire-power, the Helic engineers designed a second weapons system for it. The CP-23 unit consists of a quartet of short-range missile pods mounted on the Zoid's forelegs.

The CP-23 kit consists of two frames. The kit is moulded in white and dull grey. The CP-23 was re-issued with the white components replaced with blue as a part of the Heavy Arms König Wolf model, and with the white components replaced with bronze for the König Wolf Mk II.

Like the CP-22, CP-23 was released and only had a short production run. By 2006, the price of the two units together was often more than a Fuzors König Wolf Mk II.

Anime

Like the CP-22 the CP-23 would be seen in both Zoids: Fuzors and Zoids: Genesis, piloted by Amy and Danbul respectively. In the former series, it would have a minor animation error, where the missile pods did not open when firing. In Genesis, this error was corrected.

CP-24 Flexible Booster

D2002002008

CP-24 Flexible Booster

In ZAC 2101, a third party began supplying Zoids weapons to all factions in the conflict. The first of these systems was the CP-24 Flexible Booster. The unit consists of a pair of boosters on flexible mountings which increases the Zoid's speed, acceleration and mobility. It also adds either a pair of 40 mm beam cannons or a pair of AZ2 Missile Pods to the Zoid. The CP-24 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-24 kit consists of two frames and four rubber caps. The kit can be built with either beam cannons or missile launchers. The kit is moulded in black. It was also re-issued in light grey.

CP-25 Active Shield

D2002003005

CP-25 Active Shield

Manufactured by the same company as the CP-24, the CP-25 is an unusual system. It consists of a pair of large shields on flexible mountings. The mountings move the shields to protect the Zoid from incoming fire, increasing the unit's survivability. Additionally, several small weapons are added to the Zoid. The CP-25 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-25 kit consists of two frames and four rubber caps. The kit is moulded in dull green. It was also re-issued in red.

CP-26 Omni-Directional Missile Unit

D2002004004

CP- Omni-Directional Missile Unit

The third weapon in the series, the CP-26 unit consists of a trio of missile launchers intended for different roles. Additionally, the mounting of the weapons allows them to provide a Zoid with full coverage. The CP-26 is used by the following Zoids:

The CP-26 kit consists of a two frames and a small pilot figure. The kit is moulded in silver with a blue figure. It was also re-issued in blue with a grey figure.

CP-27 Storm (Sturm) Unit

Main article: Storm Fury
Note: the upgrade is identified on the box as "Storm Unit" in English, and "Sturm Unit" in Japanese. Both names are considered to be equally valid.

The only CAS model kit produced for the Berserk Führer, the CP-27 Storm Unit drastically increases the Zoid's speed and maneuverability, albeit at the cost of most of its weaponry. The CAS adds a pair of large-scale boosters to the back of the Zoid, enhancing its flight capabilities. In place of the multi-function Buster Claws, the Zoid mounts a pair of X-Breakers, similar to those on the Geno Breaker. Finally, the Zoid's armor is upgraded, especially on the head.

Sturm Tyrann

Sturm Tyrann

The CP-27 kit consists of three frames. The kit is moulded in lavender, silver and red. It was also reissued in bright red and gold as a part of the limited Sturm Tyrann kit.

CP-A1

A1

CP-A1

Unlike other CPs which are specific weapons systems or equipment, CP-A1 is designed to allow the connection of different CPs to Zoids other than the ones they were designed for. The CP-A1 can be used with the following Zoids and CPs:

The CP-A1 kit consists of a single frame and a pair of rubber caps. The kit is moulded in dull grey. Initially planned for commercial release, CP-A1 was only released as a convention-exclusive item in 2000. However, in 2009, it was re-released with the Anime 10th Anyversary Edition Iron Kong Schwartz Custom, along with a CP-03. The CP-A1 was also redesigned and included with the HMM Saber Tiger Schwartz Version along with a redesigned CP-03.

Limited Blox CPs

During the NJR, TOMY created a subline of CPs for some of the Blox Zoids. Instead of being new weapons however, they were instead re-issues of single frames from certain Blox Zoids in new colous. These new frames were just recolors of old ones already in the kit, used to replace what was already there. They were usually translucent. Some sets only included certain parts while other included a whole frame. The Limited Blox Customize Parts are getting somewhat harder to find recently. All of the kits are detailed below.

Set A: Flyscissors Spure A05 (Translucent Blue)

This set included the parts for the Flyscissors wings. The wings can also be attached to the Lord Gale, Chimera Dragon and any other Zoid that utilizes the Zoids wings.

Holotech Flyscissors Spure A05 (Clear)

The Set A was re-issued in clear translucent plastic and was released in limited numbers. It was the only set in the series to have been released two times in different colour schemes other than the Set of 6 Blox, which was also released a second time in a translucent color scheme with a limited production run.

Set B: Demonshead Spure A08 (Translucent Red)

This set included the parts for the Demonshead horns. These can also be attached to Chimera Dragon, Lord Gale or any other Zoid that utilizes the Zoids horns.

Set C: Boldguard Spure B10 (Translucent Grey)

This set included the parts for the Boldguard feet and guns. They can also be used with any Zoid fusion that utilizes the Boldgaurd's feet and guns.

Set D: Leostriker Spure D12 (Translucent Black)

This set included the parts for the Leostriker tail. This set is is the only set to have ever been re-issued with a Zoid with the part retaining the same colors as the Blox CP (excluding the Translucent Blox set). This frame was included along with similarly recolored frames as a part of the limited Holotech Leostriker. This CP can also be attached to the Command Striker, because the tail is incorporated into the fusion. The tail can also be used with any Zoid fusion that ultilizes the Leostriker's tail.

Set E: Deantler Spure A14 (Translucent Pink)

This set included the parts for the Deantler antlers. They can also be used with any Zoid fusion that utilizes the Deantler's antlers.

Set F: Cannon Diver Spure A13 (Translucent Yellow)

This set included the parts for the Cannon Diver cannons. This frame was re-issued with the release of Shadow D.A. Lizards. It is the only Blox CP to have been re-issued in different colors with another Zoid that wasn't its original intended Zoid. As such, Leoblaze, Unenlagia, D.A. Lizards, Matrix Dragon, any related Blox Zoids, or any Zoids that utilize the Cannon DIver's cannons can be equiped with this CP. It is also believed that Griffon and Gojulox can use the CP as well

Set G: Proto Gojulas Giga Buster Cannons

This set included the frame for the Buster Eagle Buster Cannons. This set is unusual in that it was designed for use by the Proto Gojulas Giga produced by the Toy's Dream Project, despite it not being a Blox Zoid. The cannons still can be attached to the Buster Eagle in place of the old ones. This suggests that the limited Blox parts were produced by TDP itself. In reality, any version of the Gojulas Giga or Buster Eagle can be equipped with these and not just the TDP Gojulas Giga. This also applies for Griffon, if one is able to create it. They are also the only non-translucent colored parts in the series. (other than the blox and blox connectors) They were coloured in silver. In addition, these cannons can be used with any Zoids fusion that utilizes the Buster Cannons.

Set H: Dispelow Frame B (Translucent Brown)

This set included the frame for the Dispelow weapons. These can also be attached to the Gairyuki Destroy (Regular or Shin variant) because the weapons are incorporated into the fusion. In addition, these cannons can be used with any Zoids fusion that utilizes the Dispelow's weapon systems.

Set I: Laser/Scissor Storm Frame A (Translucent Grey)

This set included the frame for the Laser Storm and/or Scissor Storm weapons, specifically the gattling unit. It is possible to use it on either Zoid because they both use the same frame in the original design, as well as many other different frames. This was the only time a colour in the series was used twice; it is the same color as Set C. These can also be attached to Energy Storm and Ultimate Seismosaurus because the weapons are incorporated into the fusion. In addition, these weapons can be used with any Zoids fusion that utilizes Laser Storm's or Scissor Storm's weapon systems.

Set of 6 Blox

A set containing 6 standard gray Blox pieces usable by any Blox Zoid. There were no connectors included.

Set of 6 Translucent Blox

The Set of 6 Blox pieces was re-issued in clear plastic in limited numbers. Otherwise, it was the same exact kit. A single "Crystal Blox" as referred to by fans, would be included with each Blitz Sworder by Dengeki Hobby Magazine instead of a standard Blox cube. It was the same cube as included with this set.

Blox cubes

Each set contains 3 Imperial and 3 Republican cubes, each having 1 black, one gray-ish color, and one light gray BLOX.

01: Set of Blox Joints

Ball joint

Ball Joint Set

A set containing gray colored frames of a Blox joint (connector) pieces, also known consistantly as Frame J in the normal Blox line. There were no actual Blox cubes included.
