I know a while ago, I came up with the idea to organize model releases by the type of release. In other words, for example, the NJR Blade Liger and Blade Liger Leon were released years apart, however, under my new plan, Blade Liger Leon would just be a heading underneath the NJR section of the Blade Liger page. However, doing so disrupts the chronological order of the releases we once had. Because I am not around much anymore, (I plan to change that this summer), I don't know the current state of many of the model release-based pages.
That being said, I would like to ask the community on their thoughts, and what they think is the better system to implement. If we have already integrated one over the other, then that is fine. This is really not only to keep myself up-to-speed on that has been happening around here (beautiful work everyone, so far, it looks as if Zoids Wiki is better than ever) but to also get a feel for how the community feels about our model kit pages right now.
I actually want the opposite of this. I want to get rid of all references to things like "NJR" etc for reasons I've already given at length. I want chronology to take even more preference than it already does. Slax01 08:32, May 31, 2012 (UTC)
- You mean, remove all fan terms from the Wiki? That would take things to a whole new level...well, for reference, we can create a fan term page later on, but for now, I like that idea. I just wish that more users were active in the talks on improving the wiki itself, so that we could get a feel for what they want as well.

- I'm not fussed. More organisation is always better than less. Chronological makes sense, so does release kind. I wish there was a way to have both, but I don't think that's possible. Sylvanelite 08:33, June 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Well, it is possible, it just wouldn't be good...I think that for this wiki's particular needs, chronological order would be bestLeon35 21:16, June 4, 2012 (UTC)
